I saw you like the Cascades' 'Rhythm of the Rain' - that song was arranged by an amazing man named Perry Botkin and the backing guitar was by Glen Campbell! I have playlists for both of them as well. @26greenrose This songwriter, Sammy Fain was best friends with the mother of arranger/composer/conductor Stu Phillips. Sammy opened a few doors, begrudgingly, during the early years of Stu's career. It's amazing how intertwined music careers are & how much music we have simply because two musicians 'collided' at the right moment. If you like the history behind the music, I know where there's an amazing book still in print, first edition, signed by the author, Stu Phillips!
