  • It looks like it kept crashing and there weren't any good examples of it turning (tactically).

  • Damn cool RC! nuff said.

  • You Sir, are awesome. Thanks for uploading :)

  • Can you email me plans for this model? I tried to google it, but all I can find are Non-flying toys. so I asume that I'd have to build it.

  • @alien200049655

Plans for this model does not exist. I built on the 3D model.

  • Excellent work f=good sir! Find a way to install some air soft repeating rifles on there and you should have something even more exciting going!

  • cool....

  • You should be able to build a full scale version :O

  • Im Curious how Aero Dynamic is that thing in comparision to current Real-life helicopters.

  • Great job

  • So I'm guessing the system is similar to how an Osprey works.

  • I'd totally buy that from him lol

  • So this is how they filmed avatar! ;)

  • very nice. very good job

  • woooow Amazing....... the best

  • very impressed dude good work

  • it seems hard to control and is unstable

  • @halo1011998 why don't you try and build one, than you can talk smack about it...

  • That was awesoomee

  • russian engineers rock!

  • mad props for building that

  • @cosmocasper

    props GWS 9х5

  • @native118 i dont think he meant that kind of props...he meat good job/much respect

  • @native118 Lol he means respect!

  • That was awesomeeeeee

  • now that is sick!!

  • You are amazing!

    What is your profession \education?

Do you build all by yourself?

  • @TheCalculusMan

I am engineer. I work at a service center repair of household appliances.

  • @native118 Complete wasted talent, no offence.

  • @hadyanth How? It's a brilliant model, and flies beautifully.

  • dear santa..

  • THAT'S PERTY DARN COOL! THAT'S THE 1ST R/C AVATAR SCORPION AT-99 THAT I'VE EVER SEEN! WAY COOL! NEED TO ADD THE BOTTOM COUNTER ROTATING PROPS!

  • this is hard core !!!!!!

  • como podria construilo?

  • put the fking camera on it

  • @kakitembak23 Why don't you shut the fuck up and do it yourself nigga.

  • @xDEADLOCKEDx2468 bitch please i done this bitch

  • @kakitembak23 You swear.

  • ERES UN GENIO

  • Very nice job!!!!

  • They should make these IRL. I mean full scale models. I'd learn to fly helos just to pilot one.

  • awesome

  • that is awesome

  • how was the flying? I didn't see you doing much with it other than lifting off and moving forward, so I'm guessing this design's pretty unstable?

  • @gorrammit

The model is stable as a normal helicopter.

  • @native118 ok, there was this other video where they reviewed another scratch-build of the same helicopter and they concluded it wasn't a stable design (something about a pendulum or something...). maybe it wasn't stablized...

but good to know this flies well!

  • @native118 Try following a path the next time, it doesn't seem stable at all

  • @native118 That is not stable helicopter. lols.

  • @gorrammit lol it can go right and left and fly high do real helicapoters fly in rverse? wtf dude stupid question...

  • @NikolakrOlj um...yes. real helicopters CAN fly in reverse. wtf dude stupid question...

  • @gorrammit This looks more agile and stable at the same time, some how; actually looks like a really affective design.

  • @gorrammit If he's able to keep it hovering, then it's pretty stable lol.

If it wasn't, he'd be crashing very shortly after takeoff.

  • Cool bit it sounds like a dentist drill

  • looks sick noicee

  • nice job !!!!

  • That is badass!!! Man the military really needs to create this life size i think it would be a great design!! You did an amazing job man mad props! So is this something that will be for sale soon? Do you need help with getting this mass produced? Let me know, Thank You!!

  • Someone got bored...

  • it looked weird to me on the ground, but i swear as soon as it took off.. i was like wow, thats pretty fuckin cool lol

  • i like that thing it reminds me of an Osprey :D

  • Gread job

where can I find the plans you used

  • holly shit it flies, build the command ship, a thousand scorpion and a big tree, oh and small launching rockets!

  • I was just waiting for the blue bird type things to leap on it and pull it out of the sky

  • é bom

  • I got guns too bitch!

  • tell me where u got it from or where!

  • I just noticed the small rotor in the tail... Nice work... Very well made.

  • good very good

  • No pensé que el diseño fuera factible. Buen trabajo. Saludos desde MEX

  • what is the name of the background music?

  • @clomid100 Music from the film "Avatar"

  • @native118 I can understand how it rudders, goes up and down and how it banks left and right... but dont know how it elevates (Noses) Up and down to go forward or backward... with 2 non-collective angle selective rotors on sides...

    would you please tell me?

  • @mehrdadtube1

In the tail is the impeller.

  • @native118 didnt notice that... TY

  • Comment removed

  • Bigger, bigger, BIGGER xD

  • @ native118 Awesome! That's really cool 5* But i wonder how the steering works?

Could u please Tell me? Thx

  • @PPVidmaxx The steering works as tricopter. Only of the tail rotor is not rotated, and rotate the front rotors.

  • @native118 i didn't see any steering. just different camera angles for the take-offs, going forward and then landing.

  • sorry for disturbing you again. do you have the scale design of the AT-99 and all the specification with the engine type and the channels and also the material. actually am thinking to build the AT-99 is better than the F-35. and thx for the reply

  • @dj32fly In my model is applied another flight scheme than in the movie "Avatar"

Flight of the scheme and size applied in the film is only suitable for the conditions of Pandora.

    Sorry.

  • @native118 Actually, the Scorpion and Samson, and the Dragon too, weren't built for Pandora, they were built for use on Earth. The only reason they are used on Pandora is because anything more advanced fails due to the strong magnetic flux on Pandora ;)

  • Could i borrow it pl0x? My lawnmower just died :o

  • The functionality of these Russian made copies from the Avatar series proves James Cameron's genius - it's JC's concepts that went into the movie!

  • very cool but the body look to heavy for the machine.....

  • hey dude. you are a genius. am a student and studying the aerospace. this semester i have my final project to graduate. if its possible i need your help. am thinking to build up a vertical and horizontal hovering plane i mean the F-35. is that possible?

  • @dj32fly

The F-35 is on rcgroups. com

  • Hi dude ypu are a genious , you are russian conrade right ? I think our country can be proud of people like you

  • very good!

  • Fantastic job! It even appears to be pretty stable.

  • I like it, very good job !!!

  • 15 people are smurfs

  • how much u want for it?

  • Look so stable, pretty impressive.

  • if we can make toys of the scorpion gunship, why not make big one with real stuff on it?

  • @minimalhuligan

It is not suitable for the first model.

    To started make quadcopter.

  • looked a bit bigger in the movie ')

  • now that's a real engineer

  • I was wondering after seeing the movie if that chopper would really fly. Well I guess it does.

  • the best song

  • Awesome work ! how big is it ?

  • @VTOLKits

    Length - 840mm

    Width - 710mm

    Height - 260mm

  • you should have like 4

  • so whats the point of that rather then it looking net in real life it would be more reliable for it too have to rotor then one if it could fly with only one rotor.

  • now make some avatars!!!

  • looks very heavy to take off

  • magnificent!)

  • how long did it take u to make it

  • nicely done

  • thumb up if you like the background music ^^

  • nice can i buy it?

  • @hundi40

    No

  • @hundi40 "no" means it's for free! "steal it"

  • props, nice work man.

  • Freakin awesome...!!! Good job...!

  • That was awesome. I want one.

  • MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSTEEEEERR

  • wow it flies a design from a movie actuallu flies lol

  • Amazing creation friend. Im just sorry that's the best place you had to fly it....lol

  • @GlukAlex

  • that is one of the coolest things ive ever seen. Well doen sir!

  • respect и уважуха!

  • The rotors of the scorpion have also a mouvement from down to up. You just make the mouvement of the rotors rotate. In Avatar the scorpion, like the samson and the dragon is pretty handy because of the four rotations directions. So your chopper is not totally perfect :) The army should pay James Cameron to buy all these weapons and material concept, like the AMP, the guns in the movie, the scorpion and the dragon. Especially that these materials work. So what they are waiting for :)

  • @ImpCaesarHadrianvs I'm no expert but it seems to me that those rotors are pretty big targets and thus a major weakness. As for the AMP the american military is developing a exoskeleton that's supposed to help in heavy lifting but currently due to the power requirements is not feasible.

  • I see a set of 3-bladed props on outrunner motors. Where is the EDF40?

  • @Jdspitz2 In the tail.

  • that sir...is BADASS

  • lol now you can kill smurfs AVATAR STYLE!

  • I8 want to see and action figure war then this mutha fuka comes out and mows everyone to HELL

  • Made the whole thing yourself!!! Amazing.

  • Nice! you get to make more of them, ad sell them!!! really!

  • Make it full-scale :D

  • very nice job

  • the scorpion is a bit of a rip off from the Command and conquer GDI orca gunships, witch is also a bit like the HK's from terminator, think and RC HK would be more impressive..

  • @zebadee277 the choppers you say totaly do NOT look like the scorpions you look way WAY WAY TO FAR.... and why the hell pointing out that one machine copied another which they do not... its like saying one car copied another because they both have a black roof for sample.... wtf?

  • @DevasionX im pointing out that fan lift aircraft are nothing new, and the Scorpion is probably the least realistic version of such an aircraft. Now stop trolling for arguments because you don't like someone's opinion and go back to your comic books

  • @zebadee277 *looking at ur comment from a computer on my work in the airforce* *looking at the V22 Osprey...* *laughing at ur dipshit comment again.*

  • @DevasionX I detect a hint of Bullshit coming from your general direction..

  • @zebadee277 probably you looked from what country i am....

  • @DevasionX that, your age and your normal video choice.. plus the fact that according to youtube comments every1 has a degree or works in some way with something relevant to the video they are commenting on.. and if you didn't want to argue then maybe you should of taken your own advice and shut up before you made your first comment

  • @zebadee277 whatever....

  • @zebadee277 and please shut up im too tired to argue.

  • sounds like the engine is at breaking point

  • too heavy

  • Likeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @native118 Chuvak ne lenis, delay takih neskolko. Ya uveren kupyat u tebya

  • u can prolly sell that thing for pretty much money.

    a collector would pay u a lot

  • @zonvoorbaljongekut I HEAR THAT!!!

  • Good model, but the battery kinda runs down pretty fast, don't you think?

  • @masterDevis

    Yes, for 10 minutes.

  • and this isnt in the military why?

  • Now build a RC Avatar.

Android: android-ice.ru

  • Your models are awesome! So accurate and functional.

  • beyond awesome

  • can u share ur file how to made them step by step procedure and upload here so we could made one to

  • @botttaba

In description is the address Russian forum.

  • You just proved that the design actually works and is flyable. Now someone build a full size.

  • @TheUnNerved They'll probably keep it a secret like the Stealth Hawk, until it gets shot down and someone takes a snapshot of what's left! lol
