I suppose it could be a good thing to pray for- but of course we have Original Sin in our world, so sadly sin is a reality we have to accept in this life. We of course have been given the victory in Christ , the victory over our sin. Our calling is to pray that all sinners will convert, regardless of what personal sins they struggle with. Homosexual actions are sins to be repented of, just like any sin, and we pray that God will give His grace to all sinners to overcome their own sinfulness.
Hear hear Your Grace! Bishop Morlino is wonderful....and he showed up the unpleasantness of the banner-waving brigade by his quiet, loving prayerfulness. We should pray for those with homosexual orientations, not hate them, that they would give up their life of sin and come to faith in God.
@wonderboy021082 i agree. there are 5 men and 2 women (that i know of) in my church who have repented of homosexual behavior and found peace and joy in a celibate life. Another man found a woman who was very supportive and understanding of his past and they have been married for several years and seem quite happy as well and have a little boy. All things are possible with God. Never lose hope and never stop praying and loving. Thanks for your thoughtful comment - it's nice to see that here.
@Huntgoddessfishery: Imagine that someone came to your community and advocated something that you personally believed was evil or wrong (say, the mandatory murder of first-born sons). Would you stay home and sit quietly? The bishop had his freedom of speech. So did they. I am sorry you wish that his freedom of speech was not honored with silence, but democracy is seldom well mannered.
@Huntgoddessfishery I agree - i guess they feel justified because, to them, the idea of marriage being only husband and wife is so heinous and wrong that they will shout down anybody who even mentions it. I'm wondering though if this tactic isn't going to backfire on them, because most Americans like to at least hear both sides of an issue.
@urbanh196398105 Yes, thank you for reminding me of that. I think so, too. Does the bishop shout down their rallies? I don't think so. Thanks and God bless.

Madison homosexuals are really trying to make the city out to be the San Francisco of the Midwest with their pathetic aggressive protesting. No matter how loud and obnoxious they get, their sin is still sin. They can stay of the world and reject God, but all that provides is guaranteed misery and eternal damnation.
hi Bishop Morlino. GOod to see videos of you. It's been a long time. God bless you always

@wonderboy021082 Why doesn't God just make sure that NOBODY has the homosexual orientation? Why don't we pray for that too?

Wow, what a bunch of ill-mannered, obnoxious, boorish jerks. They obviously don't believe in freedom of speech.
