I agree with a new Megaman character (so we can have a full Megaman roster) Honestly though, standard Megaman (From MvC1-2) gameplay is somewhat toxic to the game, and might be why they didn't include him.
In my Opinion Megaman.EXE or Bass.EXE would be the clear choice for a 3rd Megaman character, with special movies consisting of battlechips and Hypers based off Program Advances.
We can only hope for DLC at this point, or another re-release or MvC4

Ironically that's a very good pair. If you check out how the characters are paired up, you see that they connect in themes. Hulk is a monster created by science, Chris hunts down them; Haggar and Phoenix both going into a rage when loved ones are threatened, etc.
In that sense, Mega Man and Venom match up because they both pursue justice, Mega Man as good justice and Venom as flawed justice.

@XanAsakura It was said that the poster was made just for fun. They just took an iconic comic book cover and used the template as an omage to MVC2 characters that aren't in this. So even though it says "slained" over some of them, that doesn't automatically disconfirm them. All though I doubt characters like Sonson, Amingo, or Ruby Heart have a chance and Marvel already said no to Cyclops and Gambit.
So if they do DLC what they could do is have the DLC for characters called "Return of the Slain", and "Freedom for the Captured". As for Megaman his could be called "His return".
Big Lol, but its actually punishment for your mistakes, Wright is limited on some aspects so if he tries to do something he cant or not allowed, Like sending maya again when she's already there, he'll trip, its balancing issues as Wright is a REALLY effective character

I honestly don't know. It feels like an even faster Gravity Squeeze just by looking at what it does in all the videos it is used, but that's just my opinion. I can see it being the fastest because setting it up takes a while, assuming you need to be in turnabout mode AND have three pieces of solid evidence to boot. We won't know until Max does the Assist Me on Phoenix Wright or until we get the games ourselves.

He was making an assumption based on what some of the representatives said that Rocket Racoon would play like Cable, which also meant the return of the dreaded air Hyper Viper Beam. However, if it's the exact same move from MvC2 ported to MvC3, it won't be as dangerous because of the fact that hit stun deterioration will prevent an infinite loop with the same hyper over and over again and the fact that building meter is more difficult in MvC3 then it is in MvC2.
You want Megaman in this game? Capcom should tell Keiji Inafune, creator of Megaman series should not be any problem asking or telling him include Megaman in UMVC3!

There is something called "diversity" and we need more of that in this series, considering some (if not all) characters are slightly or fully based on previous characters fighting styles.
@starfoxluver None of the MVC games were ever that serious to begin with anyway. The first one had Roll. The second one had her, Servbot, Dan, and Amingo.
But yeah, people should loosen up and not take this game so seriously. It's more along the lines of SSB, than games like SF and MK. Those games aren't over the top crossovers.

Big Lol, but its actually punishment for your mistakes, Wright is limited on some aspects so if he tries to do something he cant or not allowed, Like sending maya again when she's already there, he'll trip, its balancing issues as Wright is a REALLY effective character

I honestly don't know. It feels like an even faster Gravity Squeeze just by looking at what it does in all the videos it is used, but that's just my opinion. I can see it being the fastest because setting it up takes a while, assuming you need to be in turnabout mode AND have three pieces of solid evidence to boot. We won't know until Max does the Assist Me on Phoenix Wright or until we get the games ourselves.

@SuzakuBlitz Can't wait to test out these new guys... Though I do have my assumptions on some of the new characters we'll be seeing online... Probably Nemesis T-Type, and Nova.
I'm also interested in how Frank West and Rocket Raccoon will play. Max did assume that there would be some sort of move brought back into the game from MvC2... I forgot what it was called...

He was making an assumption based on what some of the representatives said that Rocket Racoon would play like Cable, which also meant the return of the dreaded air Hyper Viper Beam. However, if it's the exact same move from MvC2 ported to MvC3, it won't be as dangerous because of the fact that hit stun deterioration will prevent an infinite loop with the same hyper over and over again and the fact that building meter is more difficult in MvC3 then it is in MvC2.

i mean i'm a megaman fan myself.not from the fanbase of course.and like i said i love megaman very much.but even though he didn't make it into this game.i will not nerd rage over this.i will just calmly except that he's not in and move on.i will still purchase this game regardless of his absence and be content with that.i love phoenix wright just as much as i love megaman preferably exe.but i am willing to except this and move on.i will play this game and master phoenix wrights fighting style.

There is something called "diversity" and we need more of that in this series, considering some (if not all) characters are slightly or fully based on previous characters fighting styles.

@starfoxluver None of the MVC games were ever that serious to begin with anyway. The first one had Roll. The second one had her, Servbot, Dan, and Amingo.
But yeah, people should loosen up and not take this game so seriously. It's more along the lines of SSB, than games like SF and MK. Those games aren't over the top crossovers.

I am never buying a Capcom fighter for the first release, ever. I was burnt by them pumping out SF4 (even though I played a lot of it) and MvC3 is the last straw. One has to be delusional to think they won't make a secondary edition of Street Fighter X Tekken.
