@bovlch Yes a 4 channel TX will work just fine, you only need a fifth channel if you want to use heading hold, but I never use it so it's no big deal.
i have a question, in one of video when these roberts were used to construct, how can they change the direction of the pole, or more precisely can these roberts fly vertically rather than horizontally, thank you.
I have the Snelflight Jump Jet and I find it a bit of a handful to fly, I have the E-flite mSR and 120SR and fly those no problem. Would you tell me if the Snelflight quad is easier or harder to fly than their Jump Jet please?
@scotsoft29 It's much easier to fly in a lot of ways, it has a really stable hover and it responds to your commands the way you would expect it to, i just posted a video of it doing a loop with a camera on-board.
The more weight it has on it the more stable it can be, if it isn't carrying anything it can be pretty agile but it doesn't drift like the MSR or other helicopters with tail rotors.
@taoistflyer Thank you for your reply, since I wrote about your review I have been watching other people flying their Snelflight quads and I have taken the plunge and ordered one with a few spares. It should be with me early next week. No doubt if I have some success with it I will post some videos ;-)
Very nice for sich a small platform.I did notice a little bankinga couple of times I think that it's about time that you upgraded to the 808 #11 cam my friend [ chalk and cheese] Another great job on your part And next ? ? ? ? Happy Landings.............
I would have no problem assembling it. My concern would be flying it. On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being beginner, and 10 being you, where would you rate it?
@ez2curanut maybe a 5, not for beginners, but it is very easy to fly, in fact it flies itself, you just tell it where to go, the problem is it listens to you and goes exactly where you tell it to go so if you have no helicopter flight experience their will be a learning curve, but this is a good aircraft to learn on because you don't have to fight torque or other instabilities, i would say to get a free simulator like FMS if your going to get this aircraft or any other 5 or 6 channel helicopter.
@kenrom it will, if you check out some of the snelflight videos i think he was using a go pro HD camera on his, it has a lot of lift to it, i could probably use it to carry a beer.
i can totally build this in 2 minutes

@hurleyi2017 299 pounds the whole kit with the controller and stuff. Check the link in the video's description...

When you say it can carry a lot of weight, do you have a specific weight load that it can handle before becoming unstable/dragged?

@BazookaMoose check the snelflight main page to find out for sure, I'd hate to misquote it.

@taoistflyer I heard you mentioned it has a 15 min flight time but how long does it take to recharge to get 15 mins of flight?
stgcom 6 months ago
@stgcom It depends on your charger, i use a cheep E-sky charger that takes about an hour.
But you can charge it in 20 minutes with a really nice charger. It shortens overall battery life to quickly charge them but you can.
taoistflyer 6 months ago
It would be a cool spy tool if it wasn't so noisy, it was smaller, and had a better battery life.

Did you have to adjust the rotation of the props? I seen some black tape on them, I was just wondering if that was your doing or the factories.

just cause you sped up the build video doesnt mean that you built it in two minutes...
soccer4209 7 months ago
@soccer4209 the build took about an hour, i was simply showing the whole thing in a time laps video.
taoistflyer 7 months ago
@taoistflyer yea
but that doesnt mean that you can say that you built in two minutes cause thats what youre basically saying in the title....
jus sayin man
soccer4209 7 months ago
@soccer4209 He means that he is showing the whole build in two minutes not actually building it in two minutes! Think outside the box a little man!
