  • If Alan Moore saw me reading Countdown I'd apologize.

  • Since I first heard this song, I can't help but sing it every time I mention his name.

    So catchy!

Alan Moore is probably the one writer who's work I would never download torrents of. I'd be too scared that he would appear in my room in the middle of the night and banish me to the phantom zone.

  • This was amazing. Alan would be proud.

  • are you absolutely sure it wasn't just a homeless man with some magic rings

  • this is amazing- i found it whilst searching for interviews with the great man himself as last-minute research for my dissertation and needless to say it's cheered me up no end :D i only hope that alan gets to see it one day!

  • HA!

    brilliant, man!

  • I've loved this song since I first heard it about a year ago, MJ - so terrific. I'm going to promo it on my pop culture radio show/podcast The Action Room dott com ! And @Ratchen, YES! me too ;) I sing this song a lot.

  • Thanks very much indeed!

And i sing it a lot too!!

  • Which shop to I have to go to to bump into Alan Moore?

  • Gosh!

  • My name is Alan XD

  • how tall is alan moore

  • I would never dare to talk to Alan Moore if i saw him in real life. Maybe I would give him a friendly nod or something.

  • i sometimes burst into chorus' of

"Alan moooooooooooooooore Alan mooore...lalala Alan mooore" etc...thankfully people completely expect me to do that sort of crap so I can't sew you for social damage. :D

  • I love you Mark!

  • Did you misspell your own name at the end?

  • no of course he didn't!!! that was alternate universe MJHibbett. lol

  • fantastic song

  • Fantastic song I love it. I seen Alan Moore shopping in Morrisons but did not want to approach a man when he is busy shopping for

    lifes essentials.

  • This song is very funny. I love it.

    Good work! ^^

  • countdown arena was shit

  • Hello, i'm a great fan of this song, and i'd like to make a flash with this in it. If you don't know what a flash is its basically a cartoon that you animate on the computer. I'd like to make one with this song. Get back to me.

  • Dude MY NAME IS ALLAN MOORE! lol and i search for my name and this came up........... i love the song can you tell me your msn and send it to me plsssss.......

  • Sorry, not met. Saw.

  • This is probabaly a stupid question, but did you really meet him that day or is it just a silly song?

  • Yes, I did see him, exactly as it says in the song!

  • Had he brought Glycon with him?

  • i can do one kick ass voice impression of the beardy god

  • Very cool, bravo! Where'd you get that little toy figure at 1:11...?

  • it's custom made by someone else

  • Okay, very cool!

  • I love this song so much. Thank you for posting it.

  • I have to admit, when I first heard this song a few months ago, I kinda brushed it off as just cheesy and camp--which it still is-- but it's really grown on me. One mention of Alan, and I'm singin this song and doing a little jig!

I hope you went to meet him at the signing on Feb. 2!

  • er, whos Alan Moore? Damn SFX! lol

  • I absolutely heart this song, and forced my closest friends to listen to it even thought they've never read Alan Moore. LOL. I just bought The Watchman today partially because of you. Thanks. :P

  • I play this once every few weeks cause it's so damn wonderful, fun, catchy, brilliant, etc. Seriously! :) :)

  • Same; I keep playing it whenever I think of Alan Moore or see one of his books, which happens a lot!

  • Ah, that's fantastic.

    Thank you Alan Moore.

  • lawd

  • Excellent!!! That made my day. =)

  • MOST EXCELLENT

  • This is just amazing!

  • I love you!

  • BEST. SONG. EVER.

Seriously, I want this on my iPod.

  • You got SlashGaimaned^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H GaimanDotted^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H mentioned in NG's journal!

Got a huge kick out of the random Google Image search results. (And the presence of Lego Moore. No Simpsons Moore, but I'm guessing season 19 hasn't aired in the UK.)

  • Very catchy tune! I've sung "Alan Moore" for a whole day.

Thank you for this, I love Ukulele Geek Pop.

  • I got the covering up Ultimates 3 thing. hilarious use of google. I was wondering who those guys were.

  • I will also point out that Darwyn Cooke's SPIRIT is not shite!! *lol*

  • Yeah, the idea was that I was covering up "Ultimates 3" (which really IS shite) with something that wasn't - guess that didn't come across as well as it might! Also, yes, those are some other Alan Moores i found on Google!

  • I got it.

Great song. I'd been collecting comics since I was little in the early 80s but never read a Moore comic until a few years ago when I started buying up as much as I could in TPBs. He truly is a comic book god.

  • also, I'm not a Brit, but I assume the soccer player and the other gentleman are fellows who share the name "Alan Moore" who are of some notoriety in Olde England Towne...? ;)

  • so awesome I had to comment twice (and listen to it/play it twice)

And yes, COUNTDOWN and all its related stuff IS crap! But Morrison will redeem it all with Final Crisis, I trust...

  • fucking awesome

  • Heh, awesome, man - Really, really catchy!

  • Saw this via Livejournal

    Good Stuff and suprisingly catchy

    Well Done sir

  • Another fine song Mark!

Your badges are really doing the rounds here in Brum! Spreading the word..!

  • Proper videos now!

Some wanker posted this on popbitch (not me).

  • No, me.

  • Nice work Mark! Hope you made it to the Gosh signing on Saturday!

  • Fantastic!

  • As PWEI would sing on "Can U Dig It", Alan Moore knows the score.

    GRATE job, Mark!

  • Great fun, even with the rough edges... liked the comic list bit! Good luck with FAWM too!
