i used to live in crewkerne when i was like 4 and moved to birmingham when i was 9 and i am now 16. went to St. Bartholomews first school. And lived on Weavers close.
haha im from crewkerne and ill be glad to tell you its still a shite hole. lol nah its alrite if you got a good set of mates (hoodies as you described them as)
when I was a teenager in the 70's we came to Crewkerne to go to the cinema on sunday afternoons and for a drink some nights. It was more fun then then than now. Give the youngsters a social life!
I grew up in Crewkerne and went to St Martins and North St Primary schools. THere seemed so much to do at the time. We spent a lot of time in Henhayes recreation ground (now housing) and fishing in the R. Parrot together with a strong sense of community which appears to be lacking right now. Shame: it seemed to offer everything young people could ever ask for at the time. We lived above Lloyds Bank in MArket Sq where my father was the manager. There was a huge back garden in which to play.
the answer= fuckall if you don't smoke, do drugs, or drink...
