Ohhh my god this is veryyy cool and it will succeeed of course ,i am diabetic and ia m bored of meausring my blood sugar every time with taking bllod from my fingers and i get embaresed infront of people .But this is easy and not embaressed also u can do it anytime any where.
Gerard Cote and Texas A&M are also working on a painless. bloodless testing device that looks like a watch and automatically test and warns the user. BioTex is also developing one based on a similar method using fluorescent particles in the skin to bounce the info back by laser.
Anybody know a less painful way to administer insulin? My grandma hates the needle and probably wouldn't want the automatic thing attached to her.
Thanks for posting this. I'll check into it as the others are 5yr out.
2 years ago the poster said it would be on the market in one year. Go to their website, its just graphic/packaging design work. No product. Bleah.

This is an excellent ideia. Could we imagine one of these to obtain, in a near future, our cholesterol level, for instance? Keep up the good work!

Are there any links to the technology behind this device? I mean, is it a reality, or is it a concept design the that tech is yet to catch up with?
