There's much more contact in hockey than B-Ball, a lot more aggressiveness and intimidation, main thing is they fight 1 on 1 and only athletes themselves put up their dukes and box, no staff no teammates and they do not kick players while they are on the ground like these project boys! Whatever the monetary equivelent is to their scholarship is, it doesn't come close to compensating for the work these guys do for the school. Before people complain about them getting a "free ride," they should try to calculate how many bake sales or carwashes it would take to raise the kind of money a basketball team generates.

Xavier is a very talented team in my eyes. their maturity level is not the best but everybody deserves second chances. maybe they will possibly learn from this. the comment holloway made was very inapporpiate by saying the locker room is full of gangsters. if half the team heard that i assure you they would argue that comment. both teams displayed an enormous lack of maturity and respect. they not only made fools of them selves but fools of their schools. this is not what sports are about.
