Sorry Josephpunkdrummer, but probably the hardest hitting and possibly the best champion of all time(in the heavyweight division) retired undefeated at 49-0. His name was Rocky Marciano and he is the only heavyweight champion to have retired undefeated. He had 49 wins 43 by way of knockout. He was a true clubber and nobody ever seems to remember him when talk turns to the greatest of all time, and I have no idea why.

Tyson (1988) vs Ali (1966 or 1974) now that's a fight and a half ! I know many people get carried away by Tyson's power and believe he would KO Ali in a few rounds but think about a bit more - Ali was never put down for a full count in his professional career. Not only that but he faced some of the most aggressive heavies ever - Liston, Foreman, Frazier, Lyle etc who could all bang a bit.If fighters such as Douglas, Holyfield and Lewis could beat Tyson then Ali probably could too. What a fight !
