  • 3. Also consider that Peter's push on this began about the time as his gold business began. I'm not saying this makes him insincere, but it is factor he should realize people (like me - who like Peter's message) see;

    4. Forget vendetta vs. Beck, consider how est GOP AND hard left (entire Dem leadership today) HATE gold and are planning right now to get it. See the news from Vietnam? They're cracking down on gold transactions because folks fear big inflation. (Couldn't happen here, right?)

  • I'm a fan of Peter and I'm not defending w/GL (I buy from a large, NON-TV/RADIO SoCal company); however consider the following:

    1. Wiener (and hard left - like judges in CA?) was after GL for pol reasons because Beck stood on nat'l TV for a yr and called Prez a Marxist (which he is). You saw what happened to Beck; 2. Peter should consider that the same sanctions put on GL today could, tomorrow, be used by clever, activist lawyers at DOJ to slam him and put ALL gold sales under G control.

  • Capitalism is also responsibility of the individual customer and investor. It is up to the individual to compare prices. It is easy to check the prices of British Sovereigns on the Internet. A quick Google search would show any potential Goldine customer that they are being overcharged. The principle "buyer beware" applies.

  • I actually went to the goldline site. I can't believe anyone gets sucked in by sites like that. It has 'dodgy' written all over it, and gets a swift CTRL+F4 from me. An honest gold bullion retailer simply quotes prices for coins and bars on their site, and normally offers online ordering. Goldline was opaque, and asks for customers to call a number to speak to someone to buy gold.

    Ridiculous.

  • This is 100% accurate. The EXACT same thing happened to me. British soverigns and all. Goldline is a scam, plain and simple. How about banning together for a class action law suit?

  • Unfortunately Goldline will not be the "Black eye" on Talk Radio. Such is the faith of Talk Radio listeners :( They are only a half-step above the brains of those that believe everything that is on Coast to Coast. Tragic but true.
