@ARTOFWAR2008 if the economy collapses i dont think your 401k is going to be of any value becasue the value of the dollar will go down and down and down and it will not be worth anything. So if you are going to have anything in a fireproof safe it would not be money but it would be some gold.

What if we have a collapse in the economy like Argentina's Economic Collapse. I'd rather my money be in a fireproof safe. Remember 401k's.
