I know I am a little late on this one but I can not tell you how completely I identify with this one. In my previous gig at that software company I work for, I used to sleep with my laptop because I didnt want to be too far away from it. Seriously...my laptop was keeping me warm at night. You are so right on with this. W/ the advant of wireless devices there is no such thing as downtime anymore. Sad.
this.stuff.sucks. i'm sorry but its not that im just being a dick, but every rap, every song, every thing you do is about the same shit! they say when people rap about money bitches and drugs all day it gets old, well this gets old too. 2pac rapped about politics and wordly matters, but at least he through some variation in the mix, kept it fresh, and not so tired out

dude this is exactly how i feel. too many people are tied down by technology and miss out on a lot of simple things life offers to us.

Well said. I stay home raising my Daughter, and I check Gmail and Facebook almost every ten minutes. How do I turn this thing off? I turned off the TV months ago, but I can't seem to turn off the computer.
its hard to see what the end game is of all the tech stuff. i totally feel the whole "i don't want to be online when I'm 80 thing." i've always seen myself like on a farm, training falcons or something. not twittering about not being able to find my dentures....but I don't see us getting unplugged any time soon either
