@mectechman1 Wiki is your firend ;) Ganguro evolved from/is part of the style gyaru, which is a Japanese subculture evolved from the inspiration of American (californian) girls with their tans and bright colored clothes. Most sources deem the style dead by now, but some people argue this as there's still supposed to be a few Japanese followers out there and quite a few people elsewhere seem to be embracing the style.
