Even though I'm a girl, i've been told i pull of a pompadour VERY well like, i look boss in one. I'd wear a pomp more often, but the only problem is every time i go to run it through my hair, it all sticks to my bangs. If i'm just washing my hair with shampoo it takes about a good week. Using baby oil gets it out really quick, just get some dish washing soap or some strong shampoo to get the baby oil out. Takes about 3 min. in the shower. :)

@bennie628 @bennie628 You dont use gel for a pomp. For cheap and easy to find you can use murrays. I use some pomade made by a barber in Dallas that specializes in pomps. Its a 50 weight and i top it off with some black and white for shine. Murrays is a couple of bucks at walmart or cvs. but if you have thin hair then dont use murrays. Use a lighter weight.

Uhm just make your bangs as klong as possible, cut the back half of your hair like half as long as the front half, and if he wants a ducktail, leave the sides and back kinda long so he can slick it, if not then just get a nice fade.

@GETDOWN310 Well, I learned basically that you should judge a Barber Shop by it's looks. If it looks old timey

then it probably is a good one. Depending on your taste, you can get the sides and back tapered completely, or if you like the slick back look, just say you want to be able to slick back the sides, and as you go back slowly cut shorter and shorter, that way the back isn't all long and nasty.
