This is what I thought when I started to watch the Fushigi ball videos, it seemed to be more skill on the users part than the actual ball itself. I can see a lot of people buying into the Fushigi and then getting frustrated when their movements are rough and lame looking, when in reality it's not the ball but the skill of the user.

I'm using a fushigi I got on super clearance (for $5) to start to learn CJ. I don't think it's horrible, just kinda heavy to start out with. I wouldn't buy a full priced one though as you can get a nice acrylic for about 6 bucks less.

The Fushigi Ball has a longer lifespan than an orange. Poor orange will end up peeled and eaten, or rotten and turned to mold, or worse, garbage with annoying flies circling all over. The orange has a dismal end. The only bleak future the Fushigi will have, is that it'll end up in a closet or storage somewhere.

Still, the days of the orange are numbered. Tick, tock, tick, tock....

@daydreamyjuggler, Trust me, I've dropped mine several times on hard tile floor. It's surprisingly tough, except it has a few scratches and chips here and there.

I wish I'd seen this video sooner because your advice to practice with an orange is an excellent idea. Once someone gets good and comfortable with the moves, THEN they should use the Fushigi.

I kinda don't like doing Fushigi anymore since EVERYONE is doing it, the magic and fun of it all gets boring since almost everyone has one.
