  • The dancing at the end earns a thumbs up.... Your husband is very lucky to have you... you are so talented.

  • Wow, cool mama!

  • real good drummer

  • Lol the girl looked like the girl from the "I'm a PC" commercial.

  • Cool :D

  • When I saw your daughter start dancing at the end, I was cracking up! What a cool mom. Great job.

  • I imagine it would be. Most people would want tracks with the rhythm section and not much else. Just make your guitarist significant other record you some. ;)

  • Hey, nice vid. How'd you record the sound then? I couldn't get it done with a midi-to-USB cable :(

  • I get that question a lot. I have some details in my profile that explains how I have it set up. I personally like the sounds from the TD-4 module (with some tweaking), so I simply use a set of audio RCA cables.

But if you're using a MIDI-to-USB cable, you at least need virtual software drum instruments (e.g. EZDrummer, Superior Drummer or Adictive Drums). They really add to the sounds you can make from that kit.

  • Not my favorite song, I must admit, but a good choice for developing your drumming. A few parts require a good sense of timing and rhythm, all of which you nailed, and the song as a whole calls for a conservative approach to percussion to avoid overpowering the instruments and vocals. You handled that very well also.

Additional comments via message, because I cannot fit them into 500 characters or less. :-p
