  • Seriously, I'm 22 years old and I'm more responsible than these people. Pay your bills on time, and first and foremost. Live under your means and don't bite off more than you can chew. It's seriously that simple. I will never understand when people are upset when they lose their homes. Get an APARTMENT close to your job, WALK and SAVE. 100,000 in credit card debt?

  • woman's next comment after 1:31 should be..."our GROCERIES were NOT shut off."

  • Wow, more boring dribble from the 2nd grader down under! You really crack me up asshole. I write a piece on Americans in debt & you turn it into molesting kids. Sounds like you have a real issue on your hands when that seems to be all you think about. Sort out you anger issues loser, and maybe you Mom won't hate you anymore! Cause she LOVES me!!! FUCK OFF child fucker!!!!! Everyone one else, ENJOY YOUR DAY!

  • Cry me a river! You ARE the exact type of people I'm talking about. You make me sick. Typical American name-calling crybaby. GO "F" YOURSELF!!!!!

  • @derekwburnsyou were on chris hansons catch a pretator

  • @tunastrike11 - Hey idiot, learn to spell PREDATOR you fuckin' uneducated tool!! You write like a 2nd grader. Bet your Mom's real proud of you, when she's not swallowing my predator!!! Have a shitty day ASSHOLE!!!

  • @derekwburns I understand that your dad sexually molested you for many years and saterday nights are spent pulling yourself over michael jackson music fantasizing about having anal sex with young school boys you will get caught hanging around schools pulling yourself one day sick fucker.

  • @HashSmokerDude420 I'm American and I have to agree with you. Americans go out and buy fancy houses, cars, etc., that we know damn well we can't afford and when we default on their loans we turn around and blame the banks and the politicians (who were elected by us in the first place)...I mean what ever happened to people's sense of personal responsibility? Good grief.

  • @HashSmokerDude420 This coming from someone with the screen name HashSmokerDude420 and can't even spell DEBT? Get a basic education before calling more educated people idiots. Fool.

  • im glad i live in Canada

  • @500TD500

Too bad I can't give you more then 1 thumb. I love Canada. :)

  • chris hansen has an epic voice

  • Is there some reason I need to feel sorry for these people? Look how far beyond their means they are trying to live!

  • Y'know, I can't even watch the next part. It's so freakin' depressing.

  • Chuck Norris trapped 500 debt scammers in 12 hours.

  • @RobertsDigital Chuck Norris is a Death Scanner. Not a debt scammer.

  • where is the chris hansen from primetime where the kids are tossing a ball around and he walks through?

  • I absolutely understand how she wants to be by her son's side, however quitting her job was a bad move. Where did they expect to get money for the med. care w/o insurance?

  • I'm Chris Hansen from Dateline NBC and we're doing a story on financial deadbeats. Why don't you have a seat on that chair right there

  • not to mention the you borrow 1 and end up owing 10,000

  • It's sad what happened to her son.......but it seems as if they were addicted to credit card spending before there son got sick...I don't know.

  • You people have no one to blame but YOURSELVES! Stop living outside your means & grow the f*ck up! Stop blaming everyone else.. NO ONE put a gun to your heads & told you to spend other peoples money.. Sad, just sad.. Typical lazy Americans who want it all, but don't want to work hard or even pay for it..

  • @derekwburns I find your comment to be callous and arrogant. There's a lot of people who were living within their means and then the bubble burst and they found themselves without a job. It could happen to you and I really hope it does jackass.

  • Thats the unfortunate thing about illness. You can be completely become wiped out. I have one credit card which I do not have running balances. I got a fixed mortgage loan in 1994. I watch every penny and I don't spend , spend spend. Thatas why I did not get into trouble. Only use credit cards for emergencies

  • run up those credit cards to the limit buy gold silver stash it then bail on those fuckers!!!!

  • Actually that would work once the debt and statue of limitations are reached. I try to eat basic food. Ever notice how anything with any 'remote' nutritional value, origin, and lacking in artificial sugar cost a lot more? I buy cereal and I try to buy things like smart start and the like. They however have almost if not more sugar that those "KID" cereals. Yes they've been pumped up with healthy crap, but at what cost. Keep your diet simple.

  • they don't have a debt jail yet because they know created credit is nothing but fraud anyway so why not trade fake money for real wealth as for simple diet you truly have to be dilligent most processed foods contain so much crap all of it meant to keep your mind fuzzy eating simple foods truly clears your mind and reduces those sugar induced crashes

  • dumb fucks wanted to live better then they can affor. I have many friends who did the same mistake. Thanks God, i was not fooled by banks.

  • Americans should learn how to grown their own vegetables

    third world country style

  • No many "who have a yard" are willing to put in that basic work.

  • why would any treatment for anything ever come to over 2 million dollars

  • Dr. Warren, you have got to be kidding me. No one twisted most consumers' arms to run up this debt in the first place. From now on I hope they only issue credit cards to those that can pay them.

  • The ridiculously high cost of living has twisted a great deal of arms int debt--

And I agree, they should issue credit cards to those who can pay but that's not who they want as their customers---they want vulnerable people who eventually fall behind and pay through the nose in late fees and ultimately pay 3 or 4 times the original debt through interest.....

  • your're shopping for groceries at TARGET??!?!?!?! she shouldn't be complaining.

  • Target is like Walmart and is usually cheaper than the supermarket...I don't get your point...

  • It's hard to believe that the FAT American lady featured in this video is starving.

With her grossly FAT & OVERWEIGHT body she easily has at least another 5 or 6 months of cellulitic energy reserves left in her ..even if she never eats another Twinky in her life.

  • She never said she was starving you idiot.

She was simply talking about how her son's illness led to their massive financial debt...pay attention twinky brain...

  • The medium American family already lives WAY beyond their means. On top of that millions of them SPECULATED on get-rich-quick schemes involving real estate. FUCK the 'medium American' family, let them EAT SHIT.

    DEADBEATS.

  • It's the MEDIAN family, you dolt.

People are forced to live beyond their means for even basic necessities like food and shelter...have you ever tried to rent an apartment in NYC or California??It's ridiculously expensive! Utility companies overcharge people, the price food has skyrocketed, and credit card companies prey on vulnerable people who have no idea how much heartache that card will cost them in the long run. Living beyond your means today means paying through the nose for basics...sad
