This guy is a legend! A great man, a great citizen of not only Iran/USA, but the WORLD...I reiterate my earlier post where ethnicity shouldn't come up here..my parents are Iranian and think its counteproductive to have race/eth.etc. come up in conversations since it just creates more division and blinds us from the truth where we are all alike and should look at each other as brothers and sisters rather than 2 distant strangers..of course both of our govts. think otherwise but we don't have to!

I'm glad to have seen Jim when we were both at UVa. Part of his story reminds me of the time when in 1948 we had to escape from Czechoslovakia.
