  • Awesome! I loved the music too!

  • @theworldisnotneough1 Thank you! Yes, it's one of my favorite pieces. :)

  • Erik lets run away together ur too good for Christine

  • That was amazing! Really well put together!! =]

  • @Aqua2Kitty Thank you very much! :D

  • No worries Erik....YOU can come home with me...:)

  • @joanib Haha! ;) Yeah, or me!

  • AMAZING!!!!! that is what really should have happen!!!! (can someone tell me about Phantom by Susan Kay, I've never heard of it.)

  • @wolfspirit820 Thank you! Phantom is a book by Susan Kay that is a prequel to and an alteration of the original Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux. It delves deeper into Erik's (the Phantom's) past, and retells the original story from Erik's POV. It's very good, I would recommend it, especially if you've read Leroux's original first. :)

  • @Eriksoneandonly Thank you, right after posting that, I looked it up, and got it at the library, I LOVED it to say the least! I was a little appherensive at first since I had heard of many who have read the many books related to Phantom of the Opera that have said that do not love the movie anymore, because the Phantom is too attractive or it didn't capture the essence of it but I am glad to say that I still love the movie and now I love Erik even more! :)

  • @wolfspirit820 I'm really glad you enjoyed it! It's one of my favorite books. Have you read the original novel? I think Kay's complements that so well. Anyway, I completely understand what you're talking about, since I am a little guilty of judging the movie myself now, but I'm very glad you still enjoy it and can enjoy them both.

  • @Eriksoneandonly Actually, I just finished the original novel (I know, shame on me for not reading it before every other book but again I worry that it make me hate the movie, books always do that) I can safely say that I loved it, not as much as Susan Kay's book (Mostly because it is missing a certain detail at the end ;D) but it is nothing like what most people say, I think the writing is brilliant, even if it is a little confused. Well, now all that’s left for me is to see the plays!

  • @wolfspirit820 I'm really glad you read it, because I always try to encourage people to at least attempt to like the source material. I think it's important to understanding and loving the characters. I also really enjoyed it. :D I hope you get to see the play soon!

  • I love Bach! Really good choice for a Phantom music video :) and what would we do without Susan Kay? XD

  • :D Me too. Thank you! Haha, I dunno, read Leroux? ;D

  • Your welcome! LOL,I guess so :D

  • amazing! best movie right there!

  • :D Thank you!

  • YAY! No fop! xD

Leroux just got it all wrong, this is what really happened xD

Too bad he wasn't a sensible woman xD (ah, but we have Susan Kay's book^^)

  • Haha, yeah.

;) Yes, of course. (Though I understand what Leroux was going for in his book, and it wasn't really a 'beauty and the beast' type...) but thank goodness for Susan Kay's book! XD

  • So beautiful and breath taking :)!

  • Thank you so much! :)

  • Haha! I love everyone's comments! Has anyone read Phantom by Susan kay? There's a twist at the end. It's not Leroux, but it's written by a woman. ;)

There may be a little more satisfaction reading her take on behind the POTO scenes, but still stays with the story with a twist. Worth reading.

    Love the vid!

  • Kay's book is absolutely wonderful when trying to satisfy that inner E/C shipper. It's wonderful, I adore. :D

    Thank you!

  • thats what the sequal is about? oh i heard sierra boggess got the part of christine

  • WHAT? when????!!

  • is that really true oooo i want to see it so badly if that is the case yay Erik/Christine

  • I know! I always wanted them together...

  • Mmhmm... I know. >:/ Stupid ALW. *hits him with a dead fish* Don't go ruining stuff, Andrew.

  • let's kill christine! That stupid woman...I'd pay to have Erik...

  • Haha, well, we could, but I doubt Erik would be happy with us...

  • This...is what would have happened had Gaston Leroux been a sensible woman. It is what should have happened, despite Gaston Leroux not being a sensible woman. Brava.

  • Yes! Thank you very much, and indeed, it is a pity Gaston Leroux wasn't a sensible woman (like us! :D)

  • He said in the begining of the book ( i think, can't remember.) That it was a real story, so it would'nt have cared if he was a sensible woman, he would certainly anyway write the original story..

  • You're completely right. :) Just kind of joking around with this vid, don't take it too seriously.

  • I agree - this is what should have happened in this story:D I LOVE THAT CLIP, I REALLY DO! In my opinion it suits very well to my wision - what should have happened:D And the music is... och, just wonderful:D I adore Bach:D

  • Haha, yeah! XD Thank you! And thanks again, very glad you enjoyed.

  • When they kiss it looks so right lol... they should be togeather, she should have chosen Phantom not Roul!!!

  • I agree! :)

  • the phantoms name was erik

  • Yes, yes it was.

  • eric not erik although often either for his name cuz it isn't exact on how you really spell his name in the movie cuz they never use it

  • No, it was Erik, with a K. In the book. The book that the movie was based on. :)

  • well it isn't exactally like the book like the many different version and i mean the 2004 movie which refers to no name

  • Yes, but just if you wanna give him a name, it's smart--since the movie doesn't mention any other--to give him his accepted, canon name, straight out of the book, right?

  • I'm in the original production of Phantom right now and it is with a K.

  • :D Thank you!

  • absalutely perfect, and the Cello prélude fits nicely 2.

  • Great video, great choice of music my friend! But tell me are most people around here that terrible when it comes to music that you had to so bluntly explain the concept of "instrumental"? I mean... we all are music lovers around here...counting the "topic" is POTO.

  • Heh, thank you very much! Well, you never know. This is the iInternet, anybody can wander in and watch my video, and then send me some comment about the music... I've seen it happen, and I'd rather not take the chance. I hope all PotO lovers are music lovers and aren't just in it for Gerard. Thanks for the comment! Glad you liked the video! :)

  • Totally. Raoul is so uncool. Heh. *waves Erik/Christine flag* Yay!

  • Beautiful cello music playing in the background. Just curious, which classical artist's music is this? It's very soothing, just listening to it. :) Great job on the slide show of the movie. :)

  • Johann Sebastian Bach! Thank you! Glad you liked it!

  • So that's pretty much the whole book, then? In 2:28 minutes... nice. :D I liked it! And isn't it cool when there aren't any lyrics to match with? hehe. Good job.

  • Mm. Thank you! Sometimes it's really cool! Sometimes it's really hard. I'm too used to having lyrics to match clips with! XD
