  • One of the best racing games of all time. Many games have tried to do Le Mans but in the end only this one has gotten it right. Excellent, excellent game that, like the Dreamcast, was way ahead of its time.

  • Great game and impressive for the time. The devs had this running at a rock solid 30fps with all those cars on the track. I recall in an interview that the only reason the developers couldn't make it run at 60fps was due to insufficient video memory.

  • This is just amazing! Dreamcast reached graphics like this, a long time before, after they stop with Dreamcast, i stopped to play in Consoles, and i went to PC, and btw :) i still play DC on my PC.

Shenmue and Zelda OoT Forever <3

  • @Jhonatan5 Zelda (N64)

  • @Jhonatan5 I regrettably sold my Dreamcast and the 150 odd games I used to own on it. Fortunately alot of those games have been re-released over time in improved form and the rest (including the one's that haven't been done justice) I can play emulated on PC looking better than they ever did on the good old Dreamcast. Some of my fondest gaming memories.

  • Best lap : JUSTIN ...now thats disappointing...

  • Hey!, If u guys want to listen to the soundtrack of this game, I'm uploading the tracks, visit my channel :)

  • I watch most videos on youtube in 360p because they load faster and I don't need any higher quality however, this video should be watched in 720p.

  • @Psychenzo no I just take interest in the details of games. Try to figure out why a game looks like it does...

Have you checked out Forza 4, which comes out October 15th? Looks AMAZING!

  • All those years after it was released, I managed to pick up a factory sealed copy for £5 off eBay (US version). Was surprised how playable this was. I'd say this was the best racer on the DC, not that there was many. It's one of them sleeper hit games.

  • @borobengal Not many people here even heard of LeMasn...thats probably why it was sleeper the game was beautiful for its time im playing on VGA through my LCD...look it the attention to detail like the drifting skies overheard for example

  • I would go so far to say that the trees in this game look better than those in GT5. There they look like they were printed on cardboard and then cut out. Look closely and you'll see yourself. And that after six years development.

  • @tubumu I agree

  • @tubumu so you play the game to look at the trees instead of racing?

  • @Psychenzo No but he's right...this game had great attention to background details as well as cars and more.

For it to be a DC game it was incredible for it's time...

  • @MRSHADOWSXXX33 when i play games like these, i actually don't give a damn about the minor details

since i'll allways be paying attention on the road

and i never noticed the tree details in gran turismo 5 till i saw that comment >.>

  • @MRSHADOWSXXX33 Don't get me wrong GT5 is cool but, this Dreamcast game is close second with GT3 which didn't have car repeats and crappaly updated tracks like GT4 or GT5. skid marks and lines on the road, better walls inside both tunnels. They should have left Trial Mountain alone. besides for an arcade racer this has to be the best. Dude the trees are coll but aside from that the lighting is very similar to that of GT5 Aliasing or not this game is sharper crisper than Forza 2 lighting = gt3

  • @squirrleydew This game came out over 10 years ago...I don't think any of that matters and honestly it can't be compared to current games, other than how well it played. I think the discussion about it's comparison to GT5 was the fact that this game just showed a lot of details to the backgrounds along with the vehicles. And that's something the Gran Turismo series doesn't do, they focus on the gloss on the cars and the details of the backgrounds are mediocre and blurred...

  • @tubumu I dont agree and i play both xD none the less moving away from a fire starter comment yes this is a very fun game

  • I still play this game to date on my DC with the VGA cable on my 50" plasma with my steering wheel/pedal getup. This and Ferarri F355 Challenge. Oh and MSR :D

I put a lot of hours into these three games. I miss the dreamcast something fierce...it was the golden age of games in my opinion.

  • shenmue anybody>??

  • @MrGabrielicious Has nothing to do with this game...and I already posted a Shenmue video else where! :)

  • oh what a bad driver and this game has the easiest car control ever

  • @FriendlyCroock ...Only if you set it up that way, take off all the handicaps and this game will kick your butt.

  • And i also love this game, it will alway be my favorites game of all time.

I will be paying the Dreancast again just because of this.

  • @hellsing99991 seriously get a life, I recorded this back in 2009 and was just making it to show off graphics, not to drive perfectly...I was driving that way on purpose....

  • @MRSHADOWSXXX33 My back, didn't known that you were showing off the graphics.

  • I love this game very much graphic were the best.

  • dreamcast is the most advanced console relative to its time ever

  • @lozzag13 yes that is so true... dam just when i watched the dreamcast in stores, dam that console blow my mind, see virtua striker , sonic adventure, le mans, soul calibur, power stone, nba 2k, nfl 2k, baseball 2k, virtua fighter 3, flag to flag, resident evil code veronica, etc !! dammmm the best launch of a system in the world !!!

  • Dreamcast best system that ever came out. Sony marketing and hyped mostly hype killed the Dreamcast. Rumors where spread by Sony that slow sales down. Also at time of DC release most publishers werent ready for 128bit games most games where ports of PS1 and N64 games. The true power of the DC was never realized. Pirating also killed the DC a mistake that was overlooked by Sega. At the time of its initial release CD burners where not common however soon after it was.

  • @bacardipr05 Yeah the Dreamcast never truly showed its true potential. And what a shame because it actually bested PS2 in some categories (VRAM, VMU memory, ease of development). Soul Calibur, DOA 2, Test Drive and Shenmue, was at the time, freakin unbelievable!

  • I'm thinkin of buying a dreamcast but not for this game.

  • This shows what the Dreamcast was really capable of. 5 million polygons (2 million more than the DC's assumed limit), and much better texture detail than most PS2 games ever managed. Take a look at games like this and Quake 3, Shenmue 2, Skies of Arcadia, etc and you see the DC's true potential.

  • so much memories!

cheat or tip: i you drive in reverse the car speed is over 500kph lol

  • if you tap to accelerate when you start off you will accelerate faster, great video man!

  • loved this game.

  • It's nice to see a good quality vid of this game on Youtube. Watch the Dreamcast push those polygons.

  • nice! is the VGA?

  • S-Video for now, don't have a capture device that allows VGA just yet!

  • no problem, peep my gallery I got a lot more coming. around 200 to be exact.

  • how many of those are dreamcast?

  • All 200 will be Dreamcast, I will have all 200 uploaded by end of August.

  • Nice quality video, thx!

This gameplay music is just something!
