sounds like you learned this from the power tabs version or the actual book but it's wrong. I was pissed when I listened to it on my tascam guitar trainer. I will send a video response showing you the right notes on the 2nd phrase. mostly right though. Good playing too, this solo is hard.

I never use power tabs or any other sheet music. its all by ear and i use Transcribe to slow it down. BTW i checked out ur vid and u have a number of things wrong on it. there are several descending pull offs and u keep skipping a note. I used to own a tascam but i returned it cuz it was a let down for me. If u use Transcribe you'll hear it exactly this way. But thanx anyways. keep rocking.

well i dont use the book tablature because i know its wrong. Wat i do is i use Transcribe music software to loop the solo and slow it down. Then i learn it by ear which is the best thing u can do =]

Yeah that would make sense. I've found the megadeth books generally ok, it looks like you play the same notes but in a slightly different position. What software do you use?  I've played around with this renegademinds dot com and so far it seems good.

without a doubt, by ear is the best way to learn, follow a book and your most likely wrong, follow guitar pro and you play like a machine, your guitar playing is excellent, extremely good work!!, thanks for teaching me this solo too

@MetalMonster34 i always suspected the book tab was off. i bought the countdown guitar book back in the mid 90's and that solo just confused the hell out of me trying to play with it. a lot of it just seems wrong.

tricky piece. you play the fast riffs well, I respectfully want to advise you to work on the 'accents' of the slower riffs, maybe use a metranome for a while. Know what I mean?
