  • Tøff bil =D

  • Thank you

  • ok what versions of the controllers? v 3.23

  • I have the one that don't use the servo-cable for programming.

    The sequence is:

    1. Connect USBCOMM to computer.

    2. Connect battery to esc and ESC to USBCOMM

    3. Start USBCOMM

    4. Turn on ESC

    5. Change parameters as desired.

  • Do you have MGM 160 old version ? can you tell me how do you tuning on computer with programme?

  • I don't think I have the oldest controller since I'm using USBCOMM with cc_02 cable. What I had problems with was the connecting sequence and the sequence everything had to be started. I had to follow the instructions precisely or it wouldn't connect.

  • what gearing are you running right now?

  • I honestly can't remember. It's months since I last drove it.

  • THANKS ^^ ^^ ^^ :D :D :D :D :D

  • I've propably already mentioned it but if you are going to put a HV and 4S LiPo in a Rustler you WILL need to buy some upgrades.

Steel driveshafts, steel output yokes, steel idler gear. The aluminium idler gear won't last. If you've got an old Rustler you will also need a steel main gear.

  • oh so i get the old hv motor?

    and thanks ^^

  • You can use the new HV but you'd have to drill up the pinion to 5mm. And you'd have to be extremely precise.

Or if you find someone who sells 5mm pinions for the Rustler. I've never seen them but haven't looked for them in a while.

  • have you done some things to the chassi for mounting the hv-motor?? are you using maxamps lipo??

  • I'm using Hyperion and Kong Power-LiPos. The Novak fits in the rustler without any modifications. You may have to make your own bracket for the ESC, or attatch it with zip-ties. But the _new_ HV has a thicker axle (5mm) so standard pinions won't fit.

  • Insane XD

  • I've timed it today and I managed to get to 95kmt (59mph). I did not achieve top speed due to lack of space, grip and the fact that the front wheels are in the air ALL the time. I also need to change spur and pinion gears.

  • I'm about to order a small GPS so I can measure the speeds of my cars. I also have an EMAXX, and a crappy but fun HBX 1:10 on-road/touring car. Both brushless ofcourse!

  • sweet! that thing is quick! 5*

  • I've adjusted the angle of the wheels (camber) and the car is surprisingly forgiving. I can turn the wheel full left or right at quite high speed and then control the turn with the throttle. If the rear slides out I can just give throttle and it straightens out. Let go of the throttle and the rear slides.

  • that thing looks almost uncontrollably fast. I run 3s and it's almost too much!!! Very nice car. You will have to get belted tires or tape those things. You'll be going through tires like crazy if you don't.

  • you could tape your tires

  • crazy

  • Tøft :P

  • vxl = pwned ;D
