@spadehatesscrewtube ach well, I'm a fan of the new series. Never really liked the look of the old one, but I thoroughly enjoy the re-imagined series.
so. you're building a money grubbing conspiracy based off of some 80's hero who you weren't even alive to know?. awesome move.
(little tip, i watched the premiere.) i am 40 years old. battlestar galactica was innovative in storytelling, nothing more. lucas had mined it already. before all of this? well. anime. it has existed before me, you, and your family too. (unless you are like what, 1hundred and two) when you create an idea, be sure to research that it hasn't been done before
@spadehatesscrewtube ok, so erm... I still don't get your comment about building a money grubbing conspiracy. Are you sure you've posted to the correct page? Your comment seems out of context, as if we've had a previous conversation. Well that's what I gather from the word "so..." which you start off with.
@foghornfilms the building a money grubbing conspiracy is .. quite simply, this "new" battlestar galactica show. because, as time goes on, there are young kids who will think of this as canon. as if it existed first.
i'm not stupid. we did have a previous conversation. or else who would you be replying to?
@spadehatesscrewtube I think not. The first comment I saw from you was the one that begins "So. you're building a money grubbing conspiracy..." before then I've not spoken to you or heard from you. I don't have any problems with people having opinions. I just find your initial post out of context.
Nice work! Very effective locations, acting, and lighting. Great to see you didn't rely on FX to tell the tale. This fits in with the format and tone of the show well.
This was very well done. Way better than any of the stuff that hack Jane Espenson inflicted on the BSG audience. This was well edited. There was a true sense of urgency and suspense. The actual show could used some help, from the folks that put this together.
...as filmmakers we could sometimes do 150 takes and still not quite get what we want out of a actor. Home in on the positive thing I have to say which is this...keep going!...your showing large potential.
Dude, yep, have to comment here on this...pretty impressive stuff, I really enjoyed it, granted the acting at times on the occasional line is a bit dodgey, but most of it is FINE, it seems to improve a lot as it goes along from the actor I'm talking about. There's a LOT of good stuff here. And please don't home in on my one negative comment, I know how hard it is, and I think that...
It was cool,it had the basics,it had good acting, lighting, the FX were OK,even suspense and good dialog, but it didn`t give me a BSG feel to it,it felt more like a different Sci-Fi movie.
P.S:
I love those C-Bucks!!...and Frack!!, Sam T.Anders is HOT as HELL!!...xD
the thing i liked the most about this is it sucked. and didnt exist in the 80's. frag your starship lady.

There was another video picked instead. A cartoony type one with lego like characters rapping. I guess it showed more contrast with the show.
