Been trying to find the lyrics for the chorus part. The response part. What words are you singing?!? . "Again we fail . . . to make amends" That's all i got . . .
@TheGabeSmithDebacle Hi Gabe (?) I haven't actually played this for a very long time, but I remember reading this somewhere: First Chorus: Again we fail, To Meet and Mend, In the spaces safe, In between intent, You always say too much, Won't be long been gone. Second chorus: Again we fail, To make amends, (?) wend our way, In between each end, You're always looking back, Won't be moving on.
@Andzen - Thanks!! I'd been unable to make out much of those lyrics. Didn't even realize they were different all 3 times through! I want to try to meld the 2 parts together to sing solo. Yours was the only video I found singing the response part. Thanks again!!
yeah this is one of the better covers if not the best, nice touch to up-sweep c cord at the begining of song and some other embelishments I caught on too. great work on this.
Great cover of a beautifully written song. It's surprising how many people have covered this song. I'll hvae to learn the chords and see if I can do my own rendition.
I think you do a pretty good job. I would work on tuning your a guitar a bit and re-doing it. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to pitch.
Also when I try to play alot with toad... I will have my guitar perfectly tuned to Standard and be perfectly on with so many songs... yet I turn on some toad and capo the right and sound off from them.
Hahaha, that means you have good taste in music ;). I've been playing on and off for over 10 years. I can't remember if I started playing at 14 or 16. I wish I knew more about musical theory, but I didn't see the value of it when I was younger :) Thanks for watching!
Where's the first chorus?

@TheGabeSmithDebacle Last chorus: Third chorus:
Again we fail,
To make amends,
In the spaces safe,
In between each end
you always say too much,
won't be long been gone.

@TheGabeSmithDebacle Again, I'm not 100%, but if you listen to the song without my annoying singing, I think you will hear it!

cool how you did the harmony vocals. Good cover. on verse are the shapes f, g, am, dm, g, f then
f, g, am, g, d
torkrench 3 years ago
Hey, thanks for watching. I got the same chord progressions, but also with an em shape:
f, g, em, am, g then f, g, am, g, d. I've also considered doing the second part of the verse as f, g, am, g, f# after watching it in another video.
