  • Greg must cry watching himself perform...with hair.

  • sublime in my opinion did a good cover but does it really matter who the fuck wrote it? just enjoy the damn music...

  • @newyorkpunkrock Yes it does. Besides enjoy the music we have to give credit to the great mind that wrote it..

  • bad motherfucking religion!!!

  • @albido100 if it weren't for Bad Religion they wouldn't have even been able to cover it.

  • Grag with hair, such a rare sight! lol

  • still the best and only version of this song...not taking away from the other bands that paid tribute

  • I got into Sublime because of this song when I was 16.. took me till 23 to find out it was a cover. Love it.

  • Eat that NEOCONS AND OBAMABOTS!!!

  • @Albido100 it's not like they are in competition...

  • @Albido100 Sublime is one of my favorite bands, but I gotta say this is better... way better.

  • @Albido100 Dude, I am a self-professed stoner and even I think this is better than sublimes version...

  • 30 years this band's been rocking, a century's they'll be just born !!!!!

Bad Religion = Bad Religion !!!

They only gonna die, and will reborn forever.

  • this song is imho, from a philosophic view, the greatest song ever written...

  • @44baker4life word up son

  • Ah man, look at that. The guitarist was wearing a Ramones shirt, the crowd knew actual music, why the hell wasn't I born then?

  • @44baker4life word.

  • @44baker4life go fuck yourself

  • lmao at Greg G at 1:25

  • Peter Finestone... favorite Bad Religion Drummer

  • @brantisonfire

Off genre - Gene Hoglan is fat as fuck and he's fast as shit.

  • i fucking like this song. yesterday is good too bitch.

  • You had to be in shape to play this shit. Check out punk drummers; theyre either really skinny or sort-of muscular. Try playing this beat for a whole show and see how worn out you get. Stamina was the key, my friend. Bonham got fat because he played laid back grooves and drank a lot, punk drummers drink a lot and play fast.... burning calories the whole time.

  • FUCK ALL MY BUTTHOLE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • No Sublime didn't write this song children.

  • THIS. IS. BAD RELIGION.

  • @big0ginge yes this footage is brilliant. classic bad religion

  • man the singer guy has a cool singing voice

its like keith morris and Dez Cadena Mixed together

    ya im kinda werd sorry

  • He sounds wasted.

  • Not bad, I suppose. I do wish I could see BR footage from 1982, though. This is, what, 1989? Before punk became big -- yet it's still missing that special something, the wildness and devil may care attitude there was in the early 1980s.

Jesus Christ, how many fucking guitarists did they have then?

Nice wardrobe, Greg. Glad to see you learned how to change your shirt in grad school.

  • I am going to die from Graffin's arrogance.

  • omg corey taylor

  • greg hetson had hair

  • makes me wanna skateboard

  • かっけ〜な〜!

  • fucking anthem

  • Early Man walked away....thats my little man to control.....the minds they werent they same......

  • the lead vocals guy sounds like a narmal jello B.....when hes talking normally

  • greatest punk song of all time, stright the fuck up

  • this one is from an album we reLEASED

  • 42days...

  • his voice is amazing

  • Bad Religion FUCKIN ALL THE WAY!!!!! BEST LIVE BAND EVER!!!!

  • E A R LY M A N W A L K E D A W A Y ...

  • the video is cutted of many live shows during theyre germany tour.. that's why they change the t shirts ;)

i wouldnt wear one shirt for one tour ;)

  • @madreligion Psssh... Fat mike does it all the time :P

  • What year was this? Yea I think this is more than one video spliced together----- Greg graffins shirt keeps changing..

  • lol they change their shirts a lot

  • oh, the lighting makes the drums look like they have a germs circle on them.

  • i dont think hes drunk, lol, thats just how greg was when he was young. i would have loved to see him fight.

I doubt I'll ever get the chance to see these guys now.

    Fingers crossed though!

  • still touring u still have a chance!

  • yea it was on american wasteland

  • In the beginning he seems slightly drunk or very tired. Lol.

  • Slightly drunk? I think he's wasted :D

  • First time I heard them was in a video game

  • crazy taxi :)

  • they're quite young here, I saw them in Holland last year, and they looked way older, they still rock tho...

  • No, Sublime covered it, like a lot of hit songs they have.

  • he gos through shirts like a motherfucker!!!!

  • Favorite song by them!

  • fucking great song.one of there best.

  • Early Greg walked away as modern Greg changed his shirt, his shirts weren't all the same, to change them was his goal, so he bought up lots of shirts and he changed them the whole time, then he died a confused man, changing shirts was his whole life, go!

  • Haha. You need a book or something to use your time with.

  • @doubledodeccagon Hilarious! :D

  • @doubledodeccagon baaaahaha!

  • @doubledodeccagon ... fucking gold!

  • @doubledodeccagon This remains as my favourite youtube comment ever.

  • @doubledodeccagon hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

  • @doubledodeccagon I lul'd

  • @doubledodeccagon so that was kinda funny but I think the last line should've been ?in a shirt he didn't like" just a thought

  • @skag365 *thumbs up* ;)

  • @doubledodeccagon This the greatest youtube comment ever

  • @doubledodeccagon i lol'd

  • @doubledodeccagon

ahaha and i thought i was stoned!

  • we´re only gonna dye all of his white shirts!!

  • @doubledodeccagon I thought you meant that metaphorically. At first I thought you were critizicing Graffin.

Then I realized about the bunch of different shirts he had in the video. Funny as hell.

  • @doubledodeccagon hiliarous made me giggle like a little school girl

  • BAD RELIGION FOR LIFE!!!!

  • this band sounds like iner terrestrials

  • early man walked away as modern man took control.

their minds weren't all the same, to conquer was his big goal,

so he built his great empire and slaughtered his own kind,

then he died a confused man, killed himself with his own mind.

    go!

we're only gonna die from our own arrogance

  • Greatest six line song of all time :p

  • you can really see where green day got their influence

i love sublime by the way

  • sublime is the shitttt

  • @bharm420 please dont compare green day to bad religion...

  • @dcarey6285 He didn't compare Green Day to Bad Religion, he just stated where they got their influence. Also, he was correct, as BJ has openly admitted that they drew influence from Bad Religion. Go ahead and can that punker than thou attitude.

BTW, I don't care for Green Day, but it's that separatist mentality that's tearing apart what's left of genuine punk rock.

  • anyone who hasn't should pick up the 80-85 compilation cd

unless you still have all the originals on vinyl or something, then you can skip it

  • I'm pretty sure they included that whole compilation (as well as the original album) on the 2004 reissue of "HCHBAW?".

  • yeah really when that retared coment

  • early man walked away as spiderman took controoool! fuck i love badger legion...

  • its modern man. read the lyrics

  • nooo really?

  • try again.

  • the guitarist of circle jers is include in bad religion.damn i don´t know his name...i think bad religion had 2 good ep´s the first and the second the rest is ok but not so pretty awesome

  • He was also the guitar player in Red Cross...before the Jerks.

  • Greg Hetson

  • Agreed, & his name is Greg Hetson

  • Bad Religion is Black Sabbath

  • How?

  • think about it. their both mostly anti christian and their very legendary in rock n roll history and bad religion started ten years after black sabbath

  • Oh okay, I understand what you meant now. That and both Bad Religion and Black Sabbath had good first albums. : ]

  • You can say that again!!

  • There not anti-christian...one of the member is a deist they use Religion in alotta of the songs but there anti god...

  • yeah... anti christian

  • Retard.

  • its cool that you care enough about the genre to put it in your sn then you talk shit about it.

  • Punk had more influence than metal. All modern Rock Came from Blues.

  • Does he normally talk like this or was he drunk cause he sounded kinda wasted

  • aaahhh!!! This was great....Made my day....Some old school shit right here, fucking Classic.

That's why we might as well take our time...

  • I like the sublime cover of this song as well. good post

  • damn, greg can change shirts fast.. 1:35 - 1:44

  • lol

  • greg with hair!!! awesome clip from the past...

  • Ate too many Jalapeno peppers!! My ass hole is gonna die from my own arrogance.

  • lol

  • wy don't they make music like this

oh wait know i know because corperate america only want(c)rap and shitty teen pop

  • Don't mean to force my opinion on you, but listen to some actual good rap before you dismiss it as crap. I'm sure you've only heard the popular shit like soulja boi who sucks, it's like saying punk sucks because you don't like blink. Public enemy, Busdriver, many older/underground rappers are awesome. The rad thread in the ultimate guitar forums has quite an impressive amount of good stuff.

  • i did listen to the old rap

    i like public enemy

    i like run dmc

but the newer rap is fucking annyoing

  • and Cypress Hill is also an awsome group

  • ye man

  • Yeah.

I would much rather listen to older/underground and progressive rap than shit like that stupid 'LEAN BACK, AWW YEEAH SUCK MAH COCK CHECKITDOUT!" kinda shit.

  • good point.

  • the old shit rocks

  • The new shit rocks just as much

  • Year??

  • man alright bad religion but ill take the faster, rawer SUBLIME version

  • patbrown911 - Why removed "the voice of god is government" BR song? That was the best song in Along the way DVD. Im seeing 2-3/days.:_( Please send me The voice of god is government video (sorry i cant speak english)

  • I'm a HUGE Bad Religion fan and I think you might be right as far as this recording goes, but Sublime didn't rock as hard as Bad Religion on the studio cut.

  • Fucking amazing band...then, now and always!

  • Hey help me to bring Bad Religion to the UK all you punk fans out there!

  • favorite song by them oh my god

  • second that

  • Third.

  • Love it, but it kind of annoys me that they used to wear their own shirts.

  • so did MDC.
