why does everyone knock the 'emotional control unit'? i think it's cool. and why does everyone knock the dash? who cares if it's a little fiddly? IT LOOKS FREAKING AWESOME!!! once you know the buttons, you don't even need to look. It's an Aston Martin, it's all about how cool it is.

I like the emotional control unit, it makes astons unique, which is good. On a $100,000+ car I want something that differentiates it. It gives the car character. But the name, my god, it needs to go. I think we can find a better name than that.

Well this was a really good review!! Aston just upgraded the "baby". I love how they made it a better car!! Faster, Lighter, and can be used as an everyday car!! British Engineering is the best!!

I find this car very annoying. Slow minded, with a voice that wouldn't look out of place in a night club full of metrosexuals.

Anyway, the car. I really like this car, the noise is such theatre, the looks are so supermodel-like. Just, stunning

Don't you mean you find the reviewer very annoying. I think it's the same with all autocar reviews, no matter how exciting the car is they manage to make the review so boring I want to end it half way through.

This guy is terrible, i saw a review of the new 458 Italia Ferrari with him reviewing. It was nice that the sound of that car was much reviewed, but this guy even found it difficult, i think, to pay a smile on his face. Awefull.

it's not that bad he is just emphasising the bad stuff. The emotional control is not less said the better. it is great! The sportshit is supposed to be more responsive so don't avoid it it is just as fun.

He has the opinion of a lot of sports car enthusiasts- real sports cars have three pedals. No matter how well an electronically controlled transmission is, it will never be as involving as a real manual gearbox.

it's not as involving but it doesn't it's less fun when suddenly need to shift a gear whether when open the throttle or speed down for a sharp corner. Yes you can do less compare to a manual gear box but not in a state of 'best to avoid' like he said, it's up to the buyer's taste. otherwise in this case, any racing cars nowadays are never as proper when they only have a sequential gear box... :(

Whats wrong with the ECU? Its better and cooler than having to insert a normal key then pressing the start/stop button
