you can get shake and wondertouch particle illusion cheaper than combustion. Thats all combustion particles re, wondertouch particle illusion

meh, get Shake. im not impressed at all. For pure composites you cant beat shake and teh way macros are implemented

after effects is more motion graphics, combustion is motion graphics + more advanced visual effects, particles (like in the video), insane tracking and color correction tools already built in.
