'Switch' refers to riding the opposite foot forward to what you normally do right? but when it comes to 'switch' and objects is it different? Or is it 'switch' because he's in a fakie postion but facing the opposite way to what you would normally for fakie being a regular footed guy. I could be over complicating things here.

It's switch because he ollies and does the manual opposite to his natural stand which is goofy.Riding backwards is always called fakie but doing the trick opposite to ones natural stand is called switch.
