The Metal Gear Solid series tops my list of best ever after that the Civilization series. However, Mass Effect is a close third and definitely my favorite RPG. More than Fallout 3.

I really can't say which is best, but it's between: Freespace 2, Thief 2, or System Shock 2

Agreed. BioShock should be on it's own, no sequels needed. SS, however, would be great modernized.

My competition for best game ever includes COD4, GTA4, Goldeneye, and Mass Effect. But, Mass Effect is definitely REALLY high on my list.

Have you played Jade Empire? I thought San Andreas was MUCH better the GTA4... Haven't played COD4 but I'm really tempted to pick up world at war...

I did not like Jade Empire that much, the story did not appeal to me, To be honest, GTA4 is better to me because of the multiplayer. Dont buy World At War, COD4 is MMMMUUUUCCCHHH better. Way better.

yes san andreas was better but gta IV is better looking and playing.

the perfect gta would be San andreas on euphoria engine :)

@Mikey234432 RAGE engine. Euphoria is the physics engine, like Havok, PhysX etc.
