In Ontario we have to do 40 hours of volunteer work to get a high school diploma. At the place where I did it, my supervisor was really mean. I needed a day off and she got really mad and said that she would give me a negative reference letter.The ironic thing is I never asked for one. I was only there for my 40 hours and I already had those.
