  • @doctor42o when you cut a piece of a cactus, you should let the scar dry up and scab over before you replant the little piece. when you take a cutting from a house plant, you put it in water to root, with cactus you set it out to dry and let the scar heal or scab over before you plant it, or it will turn to mush.
