Great song! I worshiped this strip. I totally got it, and it got me through a difficult first marriage. We named our hyancinth macaw after Opus, of course, but the ex got him. To my delight, my daughter "gets" and adores "Bloom County," too, and knows all my old compilation books by heart, now, too. She calls me "The Binkle," I think, after Binkley, though she won't admit to it.

Bloom County is my all time favorite strip. The sound of this music strikes me, if Pink Floyd were to do a song about Breathed's worlds I think it would sound just like this. Brilliant piece. Five stars and favorited.

I remember Bloom County. It was a comic strip that ran from 1980 to 1989 by Berkeley Breathed. He also ran a Sunday Strip Outland which ran from 1989 to 1995, and also an another Sunday strip, Opus, which ran from 2003 to 2008.

Man, Bloom County rocks. It's so awesome and funny. I want all of the Bloom County books, but I'm still missing quite a few. I didn't even know that he did four strips with the same characters (Academia Waltz, Bloom County, Outland, and Opus). I'm probably gonna have to forget about Academia, since those are freaking expensive. Anyway, great song. We'll miss you, Berke.

Indeed.....I have all the books...It was a special time. Carrying around the comic's from class to class... looking the the uber dork. Was too fun...I recall on someone's yearbook they had written... All I want is My "Billy and the Boingers Bootleg"....

I actually, got my Ex a 6 foot Tall Birthy Card, .. It was amazing. Freaking probably worth a mint now. Damn... and my Christmas Opus.

But that card... I hope she kept it. I wonder what it's worth now.

A wonderful song. I grew up with Bloom County and I can hardly believe it ended 19 years ago. At least Opus is in a better place now.
