"Then the remedy was a popular insurgency that ignited the spark of democracy,
now we've come to another parting of the ways, and once again the fate and character of our country are up to grabs. Democracy only works when we claim it as our own."
And I wish he spoke about my country with the same words. Indeed I wish he spoke about the whole world, But isn't the fate and character of ours always up for grabs?
The Plutonomists have one thing in mind. Our unconditional enslavement to them. They control everything, in fact we work for them and they pay us our wages but reclaim them with premeditated economic collapse. Modern slavery. It gets worse, they are using our invested monies to fund our own demise. Wall street gave out bonuses after the collapse because they accomplished what they set out to do. Swindle our hard earned monies back into their pockets. They lie like the wind blows. Peace out
This is a very important subject that you are introducing. Bill Moyers' final PBS episode this past Friday referred to Citigroup's newsletter from 2005 that dealt with plutonomy, as being a pliant business friendly governing structure that is biased in favour of the top income clique.
There appears to be a slide missing slide at about 3:22 on this presentation. You are to be commended for raising this matter. Please also consider the criminogenic role of business schools viz: Prof. Bill Black
Your final statement about the rich being the ones who end up being the biggest losers is a bit confusing. The people that sat on the box cars traveling all over Canada during the 1930s were not the rich.
