CoH is the only game where german translation/voices rock. I mean I am from Germany and usually always get my games in English , cause translations in german and voice actors simply suck big time.

Luckily there r also patches for the german CoH version which gives USA and Commonwealth their english voices. Played it like that since vCoH. German speak german , Tommys and "Ammis" speak english. This really is the best way to play the game.

usually the creators of the game can't really make it accurate atleast for language because people complain so it for their 'financial gain' they make all characters (including foreign speakers) to speak in english.

But now that there are smart guys like hell who go through the time and effort to edit and make things alittle more intresting for us we can play a much more accurate version of WWII =)

The Luftwaffe actually had ground field divisions that would assist in setting ground defenses and construction. They were ok riflemen but they weren't on par with the German regulars, excluding the German Paratroopers.

I think about halfway through WWII is when Goering pushed and got permission to form up Luftwaffe "Field Divisions." You can google the subject. To put it bluntly, their performance was awful. These were excess Luftwaffe personnel that were sent over to frontline infantry service, so these poor guys were in for a shock.

This doesn't apply to the Luftwaffe's Fallschirmjager (Paratroopers), who have generally been well regarded throughout the war, especially at the beginning.

better if you know German. there is actually reason why ralic dont use German language in English version. you need to know what soldiers are saying, especially sniper, artillery , MG, they shooting at us, mines and so on. also I really like the German accent in the English version. and like the sentence they say, like "if you dont move you bastard the yankes will kill you!", "those yankes will pay whe when we find them", " lets go hunt some american!", and many more..

Funny how you beat back parachute commandos (they purposely have to nerf them down to 3-1 commandoes to prevent them beating you, but sometimes they'll give you a full squad to kill). Funny how you also beat back the American paratroops too. Pretty much it's a bittersweet taste since this is one of the battles that you can actually win against the allies, since most battles, the Axis lost.
