could also heat up vegatible oil to a hot temperature and dip the pvc in it making virtually no fumes and bend it too .... should try that ... im sure you would like the results ! :D

Beware not to inhale the fumes from heated pvc! It contains toxins like hydrochloric acid, because it is gas it is worse than a watery solution of it..

Would be wise to look for another solution to connect the struts..

@HGNnet def agree that plastic burning is a rough choice. Their are many other options. I now work cutting out metal with a c and c machine so am able to fabricate connectors with scrap metal sheets. But the motto of the dome building for me is "use what you have!" thank you for the pvc warning.

@kahcal126 Not a biggie. just don't breathe the fumes. Be better to use a rocket stove though and just heat it but not smoking hot.
