This is totally animal cruelty....the mouse suffered so much!!...you could have atleast put the mouse out...used frozen mice etc...but noo u wanted to watch it die!
no its not nature u fucking idiot, mice done go in water dumb ass if its a snake or something its nature this is actually cruelty the mouse gets bitten draged under and suffers and then aten thats not how it is in nature
it's not animal cruelty, it an animal eating another animal, you know what was going to happen to that mouse. it weas bred to be eaten by somthing. On the ther hand there are WAY better things to feed Arowana, and oscars. And personally i think the tank was too small for all those fish but i use ~50 gallon tank for some barbs, killifish, and rainbows.
There is a difference between animal cruelty and "oh this happens in nature". KEEPING FISH CONTAINED IN A TANK ISN'T NATURAL IN NATURE. Therefore you've already broken the laws. That is a demonstration of animal cruelty, that doesn't fucking happen in nature for all you dumb asses. You don't see zoos feeding the lions zebras, do you now? There's a reason why it's called the wild, and these animals should be left in the wild. According to your logic, just cut your am and feed it to the fish.
I agree with TokkiDiary 110%! Whatever happened to feeder fish? A mouse really? Let's be real...You weren't trying to imitate nature as much as you were trying to impress youtubers who are just a twisted as you are. You are probably the coolest kid in your sad pathetic little circle of loosers. Maybe we can feed you to something somewhere sometime. It's just the cycle of life right.
@Fetcha200 only stupid ppl like you will think this is animal cruelty..i believe you have no idea what is animal cruelty.you only live in your computer and have no idea what nature really is
as an aquarist i dont find this being animal cruelty. BUT feeding mice to Arowanas isnt the greatest. Carnivorous fish do tend to like live foods more that dead, some can be trained but some are too picky
but if you want to feed your arowana a larger live animal, it should be a frogs, lizard/gekos, insects, prawns etc.I've read that some people even feed them bull frogs. and large Centipedes is supposedly good to enhance color for the fish. mice isnt safe for a couple hundred dollar worth fish.
fuck these faggots...they don't know what they are talking about...you're doing what you need to, to keep your fishes alive...and it's part of a healthy diet..

@TokkiDiary When in nature does a mouse swim around Arowana's and Oscars? If you're going to pull out the "this is nature" bullshit at least understand how nature works first. For starters it's not nature for fish to be in a tank. Secondly, every prey in nature has a chance of escape, when you drop a mouse in a fish tank, that's not nature, that's just feeding your pet fish. I don't like this sort of feeding style, but i hate you "its nature" people even more.
@TokkiDiary when the hell does an arowana and oscar get to swim around with a mouse in the wild? get your facts straight. it's not natural for an arowana and oscar to be in fucking 200g of water in nature. The wild is the wild, this is NOT the wild. Do you see zoos feeding their lions zebras? This is someone who seeks attention by abusing animals. There is a difference between nature and animal cruelty, here a human has interfered and tampered with nature, it is not natural.
@RedGravel94 I agree with you. These bastards do not know how it feels to be in both agony and fear. They simply lack enough common sense to know these things. They should be put in a tank full of sharks, and see how they'd react. Oh wait.. they'd be dead, just like the mouse.
But in all this is almost the same as feeding the mouse to a snake, and the mouse is trying to swim away instead of run away. The mouse is not suffocated as u can see in the vid, he gets picked at but then finally swallowed whole by the fish, just like a snake. So if you dont like this then ur in opposition to snakes being alive at all. We are dealing with animals eating and not peeps so basically the point is mute, the standards of animal cruelty do not take effect in pet feeding.
Actually feeding the live mouse is animal cruelty by federal standards. The amount of time in stress suffered by the mouse would be unacceptable, but this is fda standards and unfortunately for the mouse hes not eaten by humans, and is prolly not covered by that law. Just an fyi slaughtered animals are suppose to be unconcious before before they are actually killed, so they dont suffer like the mouse in this vid. You could also argue that we use mice for much worse things in science experiments.
@Trxrevo This is fucking animal cruelty *eats his steak *yum yum yum. You fucking bastard! I hope you die!!!! *chews his steak *brwm yum yum. I'm serious!
feed the fish with crickets or an insect and you'll see no negative response, but a mouse or golfish ro something we can say "cute" animals,, then you'll see some lady/gay comments like animal cruelty, poor mouse, not happening in the wild kind of crap, thats why it's called a pet because its no longer in the wild! then kid comments like "my crayfish he wil probbly kill youfish xd" like the one you see below. if not about feeding then they'll say "umm, your tank is small"
@juliusthai Dude, what did you think these fish eat? Nuggets? Of course he 's gonna feed them live prey, like they would do in the wild. SNAKEIIIZZZ6 is not a excuse to say that the people eat animals to be cruel with small animals. I love fish and understand the nature is cruel to many times.
AWESOME!!... to all the people who don't know about carnivorous fish and saying "poor mice, are you insane" something like that.... FUCK YOU. its natural, the predator eats the prey. its only a mice. theres so many mice in the world. DUHH... i know that mice has a life but how about the arowana?! arowana is more expensive than mice... THINK CAREFULLY FUCKING RETARD. so if u dont like dis vid watch other vid that are not related here.
don't goldfish have a poor nutritional value? I read somewhere they should only given as a treat sparingly and are prone to give your fish ich. it does not bother me that you used a live mouse but you can buy them frozen (well only a little); people often feed their reptiles frozen mice and it is a more humane way to feed your fish.
i dont understand how peaple scream animal cruelty it happens in the wild jus as it does in our tanks shut up n stop searching youtube if you dont like what your finding
OK FUCK U GUYS WHO CARES HOW FISH ARE FED A FOR THE MOUSE , HAVE U GUYS EVER KILLED A BUG ITS THE SAME THING U KILL A SMALLER ANIMAL THAN U AND IT CANT FIGHT BACK SO FUCK U PEOPLE WHO SAS ITS CRUEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd be worried about the mouse bitting my fishes' insides, I killed a large barrmundy once by feeding it a large crayfish, it clawed its stomach or gut and it got infected causing gas to build up etc...
That's no way "natural". In nature animals have a chance to swim away but in a small tank they have no chance of survival. By the way, if you don't like the way cows are killed don't eat them! It's no excuse to treat your OWN animals badly. They are on your responsibility and it means you can treat them right! You can't stop the cow killing but you can stop being an idiot!
@hypoksifilia looks like he is treating his animals very well even buying a mouse to feed is big arrowana, and look how clean the tank is and thick the fish are it takes a good amount of care to keep big fish thick while at the same time keeping the water really clean
stupid people complaining about animal cruelty are retarded, it's perfectly normal to feed these fish live food to balance out their diet. Also, in the wild i am sure that something like this would happen anyway. oh yeah and sweet set up man!!!
so if there was a mouse in your house you dont freak out right? and you make sure its dealt with humanely? you use d-con and traps?or no i guess you just let it run around pooping on all your stuff. what about spiders ants and other bugs in your house? i'm sure you just let them crawl all over you and dont swat at them. I'm sure you're a perfect buddhist.
@h011yp0p92 It's completely uneccesary to feed them live animals. Fair enough, they need to eat meat, but the owner of the fish could at least kill the animals first!
@jleer1 whats the difference if he kills them by ohh I don't know....drowning them maybe, thats considered humane or if a fish drowns them?? Kind of a hipocritical statement you made there.
@diezeled No, drowning is an inhumane, because it's a slow death in any situation. The owner should have given a fast chop to the head so there's no prelonged suffering.
@JarPoL101 Yes, but it could have been a fester death, with no uneccesary pain, because it wouldn't have time to even notice a chop to the head. Being pulled down into water by it's tail on the other hand causes much more pain.
Speaking as a CPT, I can assure you your tank is far too small for all three fish, or even the Arowana alone. It shows a clear disrespect for living creatures.
@snakeiiizzz6 i dont like to be called "boy" by 14 year old girls who cry about a fish eating a live mouse. Btw how do u think porks and cows are killed? with a needle? sure dude continue living in your own world and don't comment back plz i am not going to take the time for you to open my mail and read a sad mail of a 14 year old girl. I have better things to laugh at.
i understand its the nature of the fish, especially of a big carnivorous fish, to eat the the animals that fall in the water, its what they are, its what they do, and they do need to eat meat... but it shouldnt be the nature of the human to drop the animals alive, in the water, to get tortued before there eaten, there is quicker ways to do it, or you can even buy them frozen at a pet store already dead, this is the most inhumane way to do it!
@13andbeast it depends how many you have, for them to live confortably when they are adults 1 to a 55 gallon 2 in a 75 gallon 3 in a 95 and so on and so on, start at a 55 and for every oscar after that add 20 gallons to it, these are the minimums for healthy growth, bigger is always better when your dealing with oscars, i can almost gaurantee though if you keep them in a 25 gallon they will stop growing after about 6 months, and wont live very long (2-3 years probebly) amazing pets though!!!
True story. A buddy of mine had a bigger Arowana in his custom 400 gallon tank. He always feed it large Goldfish and mice. One day when I came over, he wanted to show me this. I told him. Don't do it. I've heard that feeding large fish mice can kill them. Sure enough, after his fish ate the mouse, the mouse actually chewed a hole through the Arowana's stomach and then it drowned. It was sick. You see, the mouse can find a place while inside to breath, while there, he's going to chew until out
@snakeiiizzz6 Karma will tell you to stfu and quit whining on video's you don't like. I ate steak today, im cruel too, right? I wonder what Karma will tell me about that. Are you a vegetarian? If not, then your a fking idiot because then Karma will need to deal with you too.
@romenpearce DOUCHEBAG, I don't torture MY steak before I BBQ it, go back to jerkin' yer gherkin while you watch cruelty to animals & grow T F U while you're at it .
@snakeiiizzz6 How can you not have fun watching this, im sure that the mice that died did not care about you. If you were dead they would eat your dead body.
@nathanOsIrEs169 That logic is terrible. thats like saying "we eat cows, so there is nothing wrong with eating humans, dogs, cats etc..." but idc about this anyway i'd rather be fed to a fish rather than have shit tested on me
@OzzyDaOscar Certain cultures see dogs and cats as a delicacy. Humans don't eat humans, just like cows don't eat cows, cats don't eat cats, and so forth. But, if we were in the jungle or the deserts, would it be wrong for that hungry lions to eat us? It is not wrong for an animal to eat another animal, even if that animal was fed to them by human hands. It's nature and it is quite beautiful. Oh, and all the "shit" tested on mice, has created vaccines, and saved lives :)
@diesesmadchen Yeah i understand that but in certain culture it would be frowned upon to eat a dog or another type of domestical pet, for example here in england if we were to eat a dog and put it on youtube it would be illegal and i just don't understand why fish aren't considered the same as dogs, they're living animals too.
@OzzyDaOscar The same reason they don't arrest and sentence the death penalty in the wild. Survival of the fittest. Eat or be eaten. In that fishes culture it is okay to eat a mouse. It's tasty. Hell, I hear cat is tasty too. My housecat may not like me sitting down at a restaurant eating cat, but hey it's edible. Nature sucks. Deal with it :)
@diesesmadchen oh and maybe we should all be vegans by your logic, cows and pigs, chickens, geese, and turkeys are animals too. look at the big picture, your logic is way flawed
Arowana is like imma eat fuck were'd you go.

i'm surpirsed arowana's eat mice.. btw i don't think its very healthy for arowanas to eat mice..
MrInsaneCranium 6 months ago
I'd be worried about the mouse bitting my fishes' insides, I killed a large barrmundy once by feeding it a large crayfish, it clawed its stomach or gut and it got infected causing gas to build up etc...
phalacrognathus 7 months ago
what are the dimensions of your tank?
laamonah 7 months ago
Arowana's look so bad ass! Are they easy to keep? I know they require a large tank, but I guess it's hardy as hell lol :P
fspopshovit 7 months ago
That's no way "natural". In nature animals have a chance to swim away but in a small tank they have no chance of survival. By the way, if you don't like the way cows are killed don't eat them! It's no excuse to treat your OWN animals badly. They are on your responsibility and it means you can treat them right! You can't stop the cow killing but you can stop being an idiot!
hypoksifilia 7 months ago
@hypoksifilia looks like he is treating his animals very well even buying a mouse to feed is big arrowana, and look how clean the tank is and thick the fish are it takes a good amount of care to keep big fish thick while at the same time keeping the water really clean

joannalowry1 7 months ago
stupid people complaining about animal cruelty are retarded, it's perfectly normal to feed these fish live food to balance out their diet. Also, in the wild i am sure that something like this would happen anyway. oh yeah and sweet set up man!!!

elendless 7 months ago
so if there was a mouse in your house you dont freak out right? and you make sure its dealt with humanely? you use d-con and traps?or no i guess you just let it run around pooping on all your stuff. what about spiders ants and other bugs in your house? i'm sure you just let them crawl all over you and dont swat at them. I'm sure you're a perfect buddhist.
TheAmokamoeba 7 months ago
thats animal cruelty!
h011yp0p92 7 months ago
@h011yp0p92 It's completely uneccesary to feed them live animals. Fair enough, they need to eat meat, but the owner of the fish could at least kill the animals first!
jleer1 7 months ago
@jleer1 whats the difference if he kills them by ohh I don't know....drowning them maybe, thats considered humane or if a fish drowns them?? Kind of a hipocritical statement you made there.
diezeled 7 months ago
@diezeled No, drowning is an inhumane, because it's a slow death in any situation. The owner should have given a fast chop to the head so there's no prelonged suffering.
jleer1 7 months ago
@jleer1 Slow death? the mouse got chomped within the space of a minute.
JarPoL101 7 months ago
@JarPoL101 Yes, but it could have been a fester death, with no uneccesary pain, because it wouldn't have time to even notice a chop to the head. Being pulled down into water by it's tail on the other hand causes much more pain.
jleer1 7 months ago
Speaking as a CPT, I can assure you your tank is far too small for all three fish, or even the Arowana alone. It shows a clear disrespect for living creatures.

do Arowana have teeth?
how do they chew the mouse?
PaNdeM0niuM 7 months ago
you now i wish in the next taim they will eat youre hand
nikikiki200 7 months ago
i understand its the nature of the fish, especially of a big carnivorous fish, to eat the the animals that fall in the water, its what they are, its what they do, and they do need to eat meat... but it shouldnt be the nature of the human to drop the animals alive, in the water, to get tortued before there eaten, there is quicker ways to do it, or you can even buy them frozen at a pet store already dead, this is the most inhumane way to do it!
rosepedal911 7 months ago
hey sick arrowana and i have an oscar what size of tank would you recomend for an adult cause theyre just babies i have them in a 25 gallon tank
13andbeast 7 months ago
@13andbeast it depends how many you have, for them to live confortably when they are adults 1 to a 55 gallon 2 in a 75 gallon 3 in a 95 and so on and so on, start at a 55 and for every oscar after that add 20 gallons to it, these are the minimums for healthy growth, bigger is always better when your dealing with oscars, i can almost gaurantee though if you keep them in a 25 gallon they will stop growing after about 6 months, and wont live very long (2-3 years probebly) amazing pets though!!!
rosepedal911 7 months ago
that 22" Arowana jumps up to 3 ft in the air in the wild so i would get a lid if i were u

@TruthWs Hopefully it'll happen to this sick fkrs fish too

there is nuffin wrong with this we do it to cows how do we get steak
nathanOsIrEs169 8 months ago
@nathanOsIrEs169 That logic is terrible. thats like saying "we eat cows, so there is nothing wrong with eating humans, dogs, cats etc..." but idc about this anyway i'd rather be fed to a fish rather than have shit tested on me
OzzyDaOscar 8 months ago
@OzzyDaOscar Certain cultures see dogs and cats as a delicacy. Humans don't eat humans, just like cows don't eat cows, cats don't eat cats, and so forth. But, if we were in the jungle or the deserts, would it be wrong for that hungry lions to eat us? It is not wrong for an animal to eat another animal, even if that animal was fed to them by human hands. It's nature and it is quite beautiful. Oh, and all the "shit" tested on mice, has created vaccines, and saved lives :)
diesesmadchen 8 months ago
@diesesmadchen Yeah i understand that but in certain culture it would be frowned upon to eat a dog or another type of domestical pet, for example here in england if we were to eat a dog and put it on youtube it would be illegal and i just don't understand why fish aren't considered the same as dogs, they're living animals too.
OzzyDaOscar 8 months ago
@OzzyDaOscar The same reason they don't arrest and sentence the death penalty in the wild. Survival of the fittest. Eat or be eaten. In that fishes culture it is okay to eat a mouse. It's tasty. Hell, I hear cat is tasty too. My housecat may not like me sitting down at a restaurant eating cat, but hey it's edible. Nature sucks. Deal with it :)
diesesmadchen 8 months ago
@diesesmadchen oh and maybe we should all be vegans by your logic, cows and pigs, chickens, geese, and turkeys are animals too. look at the big picture, your logic is way flawed
