  • @ 2;:16 She reminds me of my College health instructor Rhonda Davidson

  • Hubert Neal McGaughey, Jr. (born July 30, 1958 in Jacksonville, Texas) is an American country music singer of mixed Irish and Filipino descent. Got this from wikipedia...hope this helps yall since i see everyone talking about his race. I grew up in Nacogdoches it's not far from Jacksonville. He's a great singer but is not as friendly as people say he is. I met him while i was in hs.

  • he isn't asian. he is native american

  • @flirtytink83 Actually his mother is of Filipino descent and his father is of Irish descent. It's on Wikipedia.

  • @JimiHendrixisGodness

    lol ... wikipedia

  • Oh my god..I remember this song(: Haha, brought back some memories. I love this song♥

  • dang.......aint never knew there was a asian country singer

  • Neal's studio version hit #1 in Billboard, 6-18-94. God bless!

  • WHAT?! Neal rocks!! Come on guys, learned from the best in Texas - - Charlie Pride! You rock Neal! See you soon in Branson!

  • NEAL MCCOY RULES!!!

  • I like this song.

  • He is 1/2 Filipino and I'm proud to be one.

  • "No need to psychoanalyze or have a stiff drink" I didn't think you could buy alcohol in the south

  • @MsTommyknocker Are you kidding me?? have you ever heard of "moonshine"? the south pretty much invented and perfected making alcohol during the prohibition and once that was over well lets just say the floodgates opened. in a few places it still cant be sold on sundays but thats getting rarer and rarer. trust me us southerners love our beer and liquor. especially during tailgating and nascar season

  • @materialgrl2000 Helllllllllllllllllll yea. thats right.

  • listen up y`all , country is a way of thinking and living, not what colur ya is !

  • @kajiralost Amen, my friend. My comment was due to a racist dude like a year ago who said something about how he needed to go back where he came from, and called him the "N-word". Funny how that guy was subscribed to Michael Jackson. Hypocrite much?

  • 3 rappers watched this movie

  • Hey folks

You tube search "Neal McCoy - I'm Your Biggest Fan." The video is ALMOST 7 mins long. In the video he's talking to the crowd & pointing out how he hasn't had a hit on Country Radio in 6yrs & that he's trying his best to get a hit song out but Country Radio is just NOT playing his music!

    My Opinion

The reason Country Radio won't play Neal McCoy is because he's TRUE Country. Nowaday ironically all Country Radio wants to play is Pop Music!

    Nashvile = Cashville = Trashville

  • @kalmanizer he said in rednecktified "ive been playin country music since before it was pop"

  • @dilauroj94

Country Music has gones downhill since 2000. 90's Country Music was the BEST in my humble opinion.

  • @kalmanizer true. very few hit songs have i listened to since then, but i was like 6 in 2000. but even when people talk about people in pop culture i usually dont know who they are because i dont pay attention anymore. btw, cool icon. cartoons have also gone way down hill.

  • @dilauroj94

Thanks for the Compliment. Johnny Bravo is my FAVORITE Cartoon Character. I agree with you. Today's Cartoons SUCK!

  • i love this song :Lp

  • No wonder Luke Bryan's Country Man sounded so familiar.

  • What an entertainer! He's terrific!

  • I lied its Irish-Filipino

  • "Country" is a philosophy, just as being an American is. Race has no relevance, nor does a specific religion. Love the country that gives you the freedoms you have; accept the responsibilities that come with it. Love your good parents, your good spouse, your children no matter what. Being "American" is not being "White" - it's living the principles of the Bill of Rights and the Constitution, defending them to the death if necessary. Some pride in your ancestry? Of course - but in second place!

  • he still hott even after he cut all his hair off

  • today i gave him lunch at redmond oregon expo center and towmarrow i will make breakfeast for him. and he is a nice guy. when i served him lunch i didnt know it was him. so i went to you tube and now i know.

  • @MrsChagguph I am there!! Saw him in concert in Redmond yesterday!!!!

  • Neal McCoy is handsome!! I loved his hair back in the 90s

  • this is country what happen to it GAC we want it back

  • There is a black officer on my ship who can square dance. I've even heard him listening to country music in his Lexus before.

  • Aww,one of my all time favortite singer Neil McCoy, the WINK,thanks for posting

  • I was raised by a wonderful fiddle playing father!! From my diaper days till his death he played and listened to county! Born and raised on it!! It's for all people...if you don't like it...oh well!;) Give a wink!

  • Neal McCoy is far too underated in country music. Of course, country music has evolved into more like just another group of pop singers. Neal McCoy is a true country singer, becoming a rarity . George Strait said it all with his song Murder on Music Row.

  • @tinyt54 I agree with you. Today's country music IS NOT COUNTRY. I hope Neil comes out with a new album soon.

  • @24klc67 i thought he dosent sing anymore?

  • @24klc67 agreed

  • LUV NEAL MCCOY! LUV ALL HIS SONGS! AND I KNOW HE'S MARRIED, BUT I'VE ALWAYS THOUGHT HE IS HANDSOME!! ;)

  • loved it thank ya

  • I am mad at kryt. too he said fuck him and his people. First of all he probably thinks he is native american like myself, so fuck you kryptonian. maybe u should be scalped and dragged by horses bitch

  • Neal McCoy is awesome! But u idiots saying that cowboy Troy is good, are just plain dumbasses. I have no problem with black men singing country music but he's not a country artist! His music absolutely blows! Nigger trying to act like Charlie pride. Gay

  • @fischerboy2 HA I loved this comment. Darius Rucker= good... sometimes. Troy= Fuuuck no. :) Thanks for that. You just made my day.

  • i love that hes touring again im 15 and love all of his music...hes one of the best country artist of all times...i hope my mom can get our tickets for his show.

  • Anyone who is racist is obviously an ignorant individual because they are incapable of viewing the world outside of their own perspective. Racist people lack the ability to understand that other cultures and ethnicity's contain different ideals that do not make them "evil", just different from the norm that racist individuals are accustomed to. I was born and raised in the south, but I am not a racist person due to my understanding and acceptance of cultures that differ from my own.

  • @acdavis6 racisim rules fuck your politically correct bull shit. what are you a panzy ass white liberal who kisses the asses of other people? you do realize black people laugh at the liberals in san fran right?

  • kryptonian, you're no doubt white, like myself, but you're a shameful piece of garbage. if i ever saw your redneck ass i'd put you in a wheelchair for being such an ignorant racist slice of shit. (apologize for the language, kids!)

  • Sexy or what??? Real good song!!!!

  • So much talent..and to think the recording companys wasted his future.

He is a keeper. and they just brushed aside.

  • I meet him in person in Nashville Tennessee in 1999 when my son was 31/2 months old. He (my son) was there for a second heart surgery. Neal McCoy is a great person. He spoke words of encouragament to me; telling me everything would go good for my son. He is a real honest down to earth person.

  • what a sellout indian, fuck him and his people.....cared so mutch, fuck america and the fucked up government sending our men & women to war for no apparently fucked up reason

  • @kryptonian541 Dude! Didn't we just argue this out six months ago? Let me hit the key points for you again in case you've forgotten.

    1. Neal McCoy is not Indian. He is Filipino, but born in Texas.

    2. "Fuck America and the fucked up government"... Seriously? No... fuck you. Get out if you don't like America. You have the freedom of speech here, but you also have the freedom to get the hell out and the freedom to leave us alone.

    3. You're subscribed to Michael Jackson, so don't go talking race.

  • @kryptonian541 And if you hate Neal McCoy so much, don't come back to this video all the time!

  • this is one of his best songs

  • Who wants to take away Neil McCoy??

  • all sHES gotta do is gimme that wang

  • Amen to that!! 'Country' Charlie Pride was the bomb!!!! Cowboy Troy rocks too!! This from a southern white girl.

  • ripkenfan86, hunny has someone told you that you have to white to sing country music. If so they lied to you. That's not even try there is now Darius Rucker who is FABOO! and Black Cowboy, Cowboy Troy. Just wonderful in everyway and just as well known as George Strait, Tim McGraw. Country folk ARE NOT like what the MEDIA says they are. Im glad you like him, i do too i think he's kinda cute ;) and i danced to this song in 2nd grad. Good memories!

  • @TheDanyellebrooke I was commenting on someone else's comment. Look a little further down. Someone called Neal McCoy a "nigger who needed to realize this isn't his music", or whatever the heck he said. I entirely agree with you, and that was my comment.

  • I miss Neal McCoy... haven't heard from him in a long time.

  • I hate it but I don't hear 'wink' haha

  • I just love Neal McCoy. What you see is what you get - a lot of smiles and tons of fun!

  • Go Longview's Neal Mccoy!!!!!

  • I went to College with Neal and I can tell you, He is the REAL McCoy. He is exactly the same guy now that he was back then. So talented, hilarious, charismatic...and I agree Nemeses...I liked his hair long too.

  • I've been a Neal McCoy fan from the beginning of his career.. what's not to love about him? This guy oozes charm, and his voice, style, his fun, upbeat stage presence make him one of the best entertainers around. I especially love all the songs on his self-titled album. (On a personal wish, I do wish he'd grow his hair back long again, it looked good on him) But no matter what length his hair, he's got the voice, the charisma, the talent, and the twinkle in his eyes that are all winners! :)

  • I may be from Brooklyn, NY but Neal McCoy is one of my FAVORITE Country Singers. I had the pleasure of seeing Neal McCoy perform live in concert in Dallas, TX. Neal McCoy is one of the BEST Live Entertaining Performers that I've EVER seen and he is also HILARIOUS!! I had a bit of a hard time understanding Neal when he talks because his accent is as Southern as my accent is Northern, lol. :)

  • 90s country ROX!!

  • @BarryManilowFan4eva YOU NEVER HEARD OF CHARLIE PRIDE? HES PROBABLY OLDER THAN YOU AND YOUR MAMA AND YOUR DADDY HE WAS HOT IN THE 60'S AND 70'S AND NEIL IS GREAT, JOSE FELICIANO, FREDDY FENDER 80'S RAP CRAP STARTED SO MOST YOUNGER BLACKS WENT THAT WAY KICKERS DIDNT KICK THEM OUT.

  • @pinqlady57 i was born in 90. & Yes I kno Charley Pride. & Patsy Cline, Eddie Rabbitt, Hank Williams Sr, Red Sovine, Lorretty, Cash, Don Williams, Jerry Reed i can go on & on.

  • Hi Rob I live in Longview as well Neal is awesome!!!!!!!

  • Neal McCoy is the greatest, The shake, and the Wink .

  • Love This Song! Got To Him Live! It was awesome!

  • I still wish he had not cut his hair.

  • where is his song for a change

  • Neal will always be my fav country singer

  • So what you're telling us is that country music is only for white people? I think in an era like this, if a man of filipino descent (who is from Texas, mind you) and a really decent black fellow decide they want to perform country music, they should be able to. It is disturbing that you would want to take Neal away from us because of his ethnicity. By the way, they are naturally from the south, so they are playing their music. Racist fuckers like you need to disappear and stop runing life.

  • agreed im from oregon i knew alot of mexicans that listen to country

  • @ripkenfan86

Um I dont know where someone would think country music is only for white people...Two words Charlie Pride.

  • @oldlonesomesong I was commenting on someone else's comment. Look a little further down. Someone called Neal McCoy a "nigger who needed to realize this isn't his music", or whatever the heck he said. I entirely agree with you, and that was my comment.

  • @ripkenfan86

I apologize then as I didnt know that.

  • @oldlonesomesong It's ok. By the way, it's kryptonian541 I was arguing with... the same guy who just posted the crap again yesterday, but a different version of it.

  • @ripkenfan86 amen... tell it like it is

  • @ripkenfan86

Agreed! Darius Rucker seems to be doing pretty well in country music too! I just like good music regardless who sings it!

  • @ripkenfan86 Darius Rucker is singing country now, and he is one of the best country musicians I've ever seen/hurd in a long while!

  • Comment removed

  • @ripkenfan86 Well said. Ray Charles and Charlie Pride are two more examples. And dont forget SRV playing the blues. Music trancends ANY barriers.

  • @ripkenfan86 country is americas music! i was in kindegarten when this song came out!

  • @9432913 Sure is my friend, no matter what race you are. I think we're about the same age. I think I was in 1st grade when this song came out, and it is one of my all time favorites.

  • your an idiot you dont have to be white to listen to country i know a grip of mexicans that listen to country
