  • i just bought one 2day

  • @Reema770

    Hope you love them! :)

  • I purchased a pair with *NO* expectations of these shoes actually getting me into any kind of shape! I run three miles every morning and eat right- the only way to properly get into shape. They are comfortable and I am on my feet all day as a music director- this is the reason for buying these shoes. If ANYONE believes that these shoes will give you a shortcut to losing weight- YOU"RE AN IDIOT! About the reviewer- Is make-up not a product? Has anyone ever walked on air or a "Cloud"? She's sad.

  • @capthook1 I agree with you about the shortcut to losing weight- there isn't one and all these people believe that there is some kind of magical cure to being fat and lazy! Constant, persistent exercise and a healthy diet is the ONLY answer. There may be quick and brief loses seen, but the weight will always come back if people don't exercise. Walking with shape-ups isn't the answer. This lady is very annoying as well!

  • MOON SHOES!!!!

  • i have the breast cancer kind

  • Cramps are not a good sign. They're just a sign of dehydration, and a lack of potassium. Soreness is good tho. Just saying

  • I really enjoyed your presentation! You are so pretty you could sell mukluks to the polo crowd. Your honesty, however, is refreshing and disarming. Already have I dashed to ShoeStation for a pair of Skecher's XT-SRs, which shoes are cool for work and walking. If I were 20-years younger, I would invite you to the track, propose on the spot, and marry you in a heartbeat. Excuse my honesty, but I have never walked in greater comfort. Thanks so much, ML!

  • LOL to da 1 down me

  • i just bought the champion shape ups for 25 bucks... since i'm poor :)

  • ohhhhhh heck no. $100 for those ugly shoes. no way.

  • I got mine yesturday/tuesday and they are so cute! They are pink and black my two favorite colors, and i love them they are so comfortable and they are really starting to work for me:)

  • 30 bucks at costco...

  • You are so cute!

  • nice tits

  • you are so pretty and you give a very very thorough review of the shape ups. I'm a nurse and i walk all day..They are the perfect shoes. Are you a doctor or a nurse by the way? :D

  • they look like shoes that yuou can walk on water with :P

  • The word "literally" actual has a definition, you know!!! GO FIGURE!!!

  • I got a pair of black ones for Christmas and my mother got herself a black pair too.

  • Your a very pretty woman. Nice review too.

  • I bought mine from Mashall's got the Extended Fitness shoes and they were 50 dollars.

  • If you buy these (or any Skechers for that matter) make sure you sign up to receive free shipping, and use promo code "WW" to get $15.00 off sale price.

    Your welcome. :p

  • what the heck

  • Run barefoot!

  • do these make your but bigger lol

  • Prob get better results if you walk outdoors etc. Treadmills kinda ruin your workout.

  • You are so freaking sexy. Please marry me and make me a happy man. :)

  • @AAC1990

    :)

  • @AAC1990 You must be an old, desperate man to want this chunky, aged grandmother!

  • @utuberzful LOL! That's some funny stuff!

  • @utuberzful Clearly your mother failed at raising you.

  • I'm planning on getting some for my new job since I'm standing all day and I end up walking home 4 miles. They're $50 at Ross though :D

  • @cupKATEness

Yeah, they're at Marshalls too, much cheaper! :)

  • I RAN for 2 MILES with NO SHOES on a treadmill and was only winding a little at 4.5

  • just get the vibram five fingers if you want a rill workout.

  • @MrRocktrees

Oooh, I've heard about those! I really want to try those.

  • @MrRocktrees i had those and my toes weren't straight enough for them but i did enjoy them for walking around. Since they weren't working for me running i ended up with terra plana's evo's. These are fricking awesome minimalist shoe. It still has a shoe feel, more so than the fivefingers. I think they weigh slightly less but they have a great ground feel. After running several marathons in regular shoes, i would never go back. I will run minimalist for the rest of my life!!

  • well, you look very beautiful and I don't care how old you are, I was just looking for reviews on the shoes, and I'm glad I found you doing it, you are very easy on the eyes

  • @jesse747400

I know I'm late in replying to you but thank you very much for your sweet comment! :)

  • well, you look very beautiful and I don't care how old you are

  • lol u said that they were not comfortable then u said they were XD

  • As someone who has had severe Achilles tendonitis problems throughout my life, I will say...CAREFUL PEOPLE. You do not want to be crippled for the rest of your life over shoes like this.

  • Nothing wrong with being 40ish. Especially when you look as good as you do, baby. Good God!

  • I read that a lady had her tendon ruptured from wearing these. Reason they give you a workout and feel like you're on sand is because the roll of your back foot to walk cause it to hyper extension. It's not natural. She also said the ER room nurses said they've seen this before because of this shoe. I'm glad I read reviews before buying a pair of Skechers Shape Ups.

  • @Faster0

Yikes, I haven't heard of that! Good to know!

  • Nice MILF! I think she looks great for 40! If she's really 40. Either way, she looks good. Don't pay any mind to the haters, baby! You're hot. Keep doing your thing, milfy.

  • @TheEnnisfan

Ahahhhahhaaa, yes, I'm really over 40 actually, turning 42 in a couple of weeks. Yikes, I know!

  • wow your such a hottie :) oh yea thanks for review also.

  • It may sound counterintuitive, but if you stand all day, you want a shoe that keeps your feet closest to the ground like a Nike Free type shoe. Shoes like the shapeups are extremely unnatural and are like crutches for your feet and will weaken your feet.

  • You are beautiful! I've recently bought my shape ups and I LOVE IT! it was like walking on pillows =]

  • You are beautiful! I've recently bought my shape ups and I LOVE IT! it was like walking on pillows =]

  • Pause at 0:02 for close up..

  • Grammer, makeup or whatever.... I'd hit it!!!

  • I bought them for better support since I am pregnant and on my feet a lot while at work, and so far I love them. I got the all-black ones so that I can get away with wearing them with my uniform. They only made my leg muscles a bit sore the first few days I wore them but now I don't notice anything at all. I don't necessarily see a difference in my leg muscles but at least I am comfortable wearing them! That was the point in getting them. :)

  • @pinkpixy ... and mine only cost me $80!

  • i tryed some of the Skechers Shape-ups for men and omg <3 i love them and they feel great i need alittle more cash seeing they are 120 for men but i cant wait the only down side is i fear they are going to fall apart fast seeing they are foam idk someone needs to do a water test ^^; its wet here in texas

  • they are comfortable, i thought it was my fucking walmart 20 dollar dr scholls shoes that were killing my feet at the grocery store. the shape ups are ridiculously comfortable, just my feet kill on their own just by being on them for more than 2 hours..

  • i just saw this on tv, but god...100 dollers for shoes? are they atleast worth it?

  • @BartMan444 No, don't buy into this. The first week you wear a toning shoe your muscles will be sore. This is primarily because your body isn't used to using different stabilizer muscles while walking. You wont feel those muscles after about a week because your body adjusts to it. Unless you medically need a walking shoe (rocker bottom) don't buy a toning shoe. Buy a shoe like K-Swiss's Tubes ($75) or a legit running shoe from Asics. Then go out and train hard... you will see results then

  • thanks for the review

  • @semva2000

    You're very welcome! :)

  • all ur makeup doesnt hide the fact ur 40, tone it down and embrace natural beauty..but ur prob to superficial to think like that..

  • @trufiend138 I think her makeup looks amazing. You need to work on you grammer... but you're probably too dumb write properly.

  • @lintroller100

Thank you, that was really nice of you! :)

  • @lintroller100

    *your

    *grammar

  • @lintroller100

    *your

    *grammar

  • @lintroller100 lol @ "grammer"

  • @lintroller100 What a JERK you are for such a childish comment.

  • @lintroller100 "grammar", not "grammer", lol

  • @trufiend138

I'm quite superficial and darn proud of it! :) I don't need to hide the fact that I'm 41 (actually) Why would I need to hide that fact? Everyone is born a natural beauty, makeup is to enhance it. :) Play nice.

  • @mikilynn2 really ?i thought u were 25

  • @mikilynn2 looks more like 34...not 41 in my opinion.

  • So it gives you a cramp in yer hamstrings? And it outs you in bad pain? Fail.

  • @sbtrudel

No, it's not that much pain, just works different muscles than you're used to, that's all. :)

  • your an idiot

  • @mtb1119

    That I am :)

  • @mikilynn2

these things are terrible for you

  • @mtb1119 I'm sure you meant "you're and idiot" not "your an idiot". Your is an adjective mostly used as a possessive as in your dog, your car, your arrogance. You're is contraction for "you are", which is what you should have been shooting for. As you move forward insulting people with total anonymity make sure you have your intellectual shit together first. Cheers.

  • Thanks for your review - i am still in two minds of if i should buy the Skechers shape ups or the MBT's. I have just heard from other reviewers that the MBT shoes are better made than the shape ups. Are you Skechers shape ups still working?

  • I like the shoes but my problem is how do you gauge which has had more impact: excerise, or the shoe. Too me the whole toning part is just a gimmick because straight excerise will tone your body with regular shoes. However I foun that they can make working out enjoyable by reducing the pain in my joints And back which makes me workout more.

  • nice tits

  • @dean147100 agreed

  • i just bought one three weeks ago and i love it...it is very comfortable and i really hope it can help me tone my body

  • you look like you're a nurse

  • @levits77

Hehhhe, no, much worse....a Realtor and Loan Officer! :)

  • _they are very squishy:)

  • lol, shouldn't you start fixing up yourself before pressing the record button? lol, anyways good video, it had a good start lol

  • @ZR1Terror

I know right? What a boob I am! Typical me :)

  • @mikilynn2 don't matter, i still enjoyed the video

  • Are they safe to jog in?

  • @presencegirl

I have jogged in them and it worked well for me for very temp use, interval-type training but I wouldn't recommend it, they are far from being safe really, I could see serious ankle damage since they don't have much stability

  • Sweet tits.

  • @LBTennis

    Ummm, thank you?

  • @mikilynn2 ha your welcome.

  • You are preety :) and im thinking about getting some of thos for like working at my albertson store

  • @MyDraw

I think you'd like them for that! :)

  • @mikilynn2 oh really cool do you think like walking for 5 hours in thos things whould still feel good? or whould they hurt

  • Sketchers Shape ups are NOT just for women, they are for anybody who needs a good shoe. Commercial advertisements target women with new products like this, because women will buy anything, no matter how much it cost. Women waste money on fashion, cosmetics,..... and of course shoes. Trillions of dollars worth of credit card purchases for silly items like these mostly come from women who think the product being advertised is a " miracle item " How foolish is that? LMAO LOL Ha ha ha.

  • Wow..you could sell me anything...can you say 'squishy' again?

  • @souljah11b

    Hhhahahahahaa :) SQUISHY :)

  • I fully agree. I love these shoes.

  • Absolutely! Got mine and love them, wearing them everyday on my 2 mile walk. Got FREE shipping and a 10% discount.

  • WOW! Mikilynn you are HOT!!! Can you also run in these shoes? What is your opinion Babe?

  • @traceone100

Dang! Wow, thanks! I don't recommend running in them since they're not really a running shoe but I do run a bit in them. With the instability and lack of ankle support, you could very well injure yourself.

  • I want sketchers shape ups I think they suppose to make your booty bigger? hhmmm and help with your back if you have back problems.. and for standing for a long time perfect for work I WANT THOSE SKECTHERSSSSS

  • @Amea2sxc19

I don't know about making your booty bigger but they do help make it a little firmer (as long as you work out too) They are great if you stand a lot because they have a thick cusioned sole.

  • A solid review from a beautiful woman..You helped me to decide and purchase these shoes for my mother for Mother's Day..Thanks!

  • @Neo14261

Thank you so much! I hope your mom loves them. :)

  • Feeling your calves after 15 min of exercise has nothing to do with how effective the shoes are. Plus if you take 15 min to feel your legs and calves, you may be doing something wrong. Also these shoes for most people are only comfortable after 3 to 4 weeks of use. It seems to be common sense that the shoes help ease knee and back pain but nobody really seems to get their legs and butt toned up, unless they walk a lot during the day or work out.

  • @mikamiller2008

I agree with you that the shoes have nothing to do with toning up, it's the working out itself that tones you up but I had already been working out for months prior to this try out and did notice that they forced me to use different muscles. It was short-lived though just like with any exercise, your muscles get use to the activity that you're doing unless you mix it up.

  • hahahahahhahahahahahah freakin shape ups suck hahahahahahahah

  • @gamerocks1

Really? That's the best you got?

  • I bought mine 2 months ago and when i first tried them on it felt kinda weird but when you get use to it is more comfortable and easier to walk in them

  • @jan8919

Yes, it really is a weird feeling but it does go away and they just feel normal and comfortable :) I'm still wearing mine to the gym and I've even mastered running in them.

  • nice review, sweety!

  • @ShapeUps1

    Thank you :)

  • To be a clinical trial there are three fundamental characteristics, a control group, randomization and blinding. What you're doing is a pseudo scientific experiment. So do not call it a clinical trial just say you'll do an experiment with before and after photos

  • I just got these shoes two weeks ago. I live in NYC and they are the best things for walking. They have helped me lose weight and tone my entire body to be honest.. you need to walk the right way in them though and that takes some getting used to. Anyhow, they receive a 10 from me!

  • @vfelcetto

I'm so jealous that you live in NYC! I would LOVE to live there! The closest I get to a "normal" city is San Francisco and I go every chance I get!

Did you by any chance take a "before" pic?

  • Just got these shoes and they actually make walking so much easier for me. I loved your review and I think you're pretty in it so thanks for uploading videos!

  • @skuazzie Well thank you for watching! I'm still wearing them every day to the gym, I swear they make me work out longer!

  • i haven't felt anything she talked about. but these are the most comfortable shoes i have ever wore. i work standing and walking all day. i love these shoes

  • Did you first walk long dstances in them when you first got them? I did 2 miles and was sore the first couple of times.

  • Looking forward to your results post.

    Good Luck.

My mom and I are each considering getting a pair. :)

  • I'll be uploading the results video this weekend :)

  • I don't believe any of the claims about helping with fitness with these. I am simply looking for something that won't make my feet hurt, and won't give me an ingrown toe nail, after standing behind a cash register for 9 hours a day on a concrete floor.

  • Yes, I agree... not really a "fitness" shoe but they would be good for a job where you are standing all day.

  • I love them,if only for the comfort.

  • Yes, comfort-wise, they are very comfy! I'll be posting my f/y on these this weekend :)

  • Tip: at $125 theyre an overpriced. LIke Nike probrably made with cheap Asian labor. Labor & material for this shoe is approx. $15. Joe Montana is paid to say he likes them so half the $125 goes to Millionaire Joe for a $15 shoe. Shop around for a better shoe at less cost. Consumer Reports Magazine: they test athletic shoes & rate the best shoe for price and performance every year. You can trust Consumer Reports they dont accept ads. Don't trust big business or plugs like Joe Montana.

  • I just bought a pair today since I've seen more good reviews than bad. Thanks for your review on the shoes! I'm going to give them a shot and see what happens. :)

  • Good luck to you, hope you love them! Take some "before" pics if even for your own personal satisfaction :)

  • I will post a video on my XRAYS from walking and running on shape ups'....LAWSUIT..LAWSUIT!!!

  • Really? What happened? I wouldn't run in these, too wobbley and not enough ankle support. I can see how someone could get injuries from these.

  • Yeah, it even says that they're 'walking' shoes. lol I've done some light jogging but only for a short time just to give my dog a little more exercise. So far, I've had no issues with the shoes! I let my sister try them on and she LOVES them and now wants to get a pair as well. :)

  • Well I ran and walked and did everything in them and they do shape up your legs but no quick fix is going to help you need to watch your diet and exercise to fit your lifestyle. My back started to hurt because they had no support in the ankle so I went to the chiropractor and he said they were ergonomically incorrect..I just don't think these are right for someone who is elderly

and they might lose your balance and equlibrium. The xrays at the doctors showed my lower back was bent

  • I'm so sorry that happened... it is try they don't offer much ankle support, I noticed that right away. I'm not doing the review to show supported weight loss, just testing them out for me and everyone just to show if there is any truth to the whole "butt-lifting" theory.

  • I just got the shape ups this week and I tried them out on my usual 45 min walk routine yesterday. I did walk a little faster but I did wake up this morning with muscle soreness back there which tells me that its working.

  • Yep, you'll be sore the first couple of times... in a good way though :) My follow up review is being uploaded this weekend.

  • Like your shining smile, gonna buy one to try if it works on weight loss.

  • SKECHERS SUCK

  • Ok, Jake, let's check out your ass in 2 months while you're wearing Van's k? Hmm, who's is gonna be better?

  • you know what sucks halfcab??? You do!!

  • Yeah, he's probably just one of those kids who hasn't yet learned how to communicate well with others. Well, I hope he's a kid because if he's an adult then I would just feel sorry for him.

  • My boyfriend just bought these shoes. You totally rock for making this video! You are so cool! Isn't that hilarious that it comes with an instructional DVD! We got them at the Sketchers store in Dallas for about $110. I'm getting a pair when I get paid!

  • I really like them quite a lot. Even if I don't see a major difference at the end of the 2 months, I'll still wear them for the comfort factor for sure! :)

  • I'm going for the comfort factor right now. I don't feel any different muscle groups working and have worn them all day and wasn't sore the next day, but they are comfortable!

  • sure retard vans apparently suck to u i skate and thats better excersise then freaking sitting on ur fatass for 2 months!!! u mustve gone to middlesex county college if ur wearing friggin skaechers!!! im a high honor roll student and i dont talk to absolute retards like u with an IQ of 31 i rated ur vid 1 stars for skechers haha ur a 40 year old

  • Wow, you're a bitter little boy arn't you?

Really, if you're an honor roll student with such a high IQ, shouldn't you know how to spell? My son is 10 and spells better than you!

It's a review of a product, don't get your panties in a bunch over the brand.

The fact that you know I'm 40 means you watched quite a few videos to get to that fact. Hmmm....

  • say whatever the hell u waant but this is called a computer where all things arent spelled right plius im a fast typer so shut the hell up!!! i dont friggin wear panties dickhead they are callled quiksilver boxers u should kno cuz YOU WEAR THEM MAN!!! skechers makes skx aka GUESS-GAY-SEX!!! still think skechers are cool???? now get ur fatass off the that pizza stained couch, cleanse up, AND GET A GOD DAMN LIFE!!! UR A PATHETIC RETARD WHO DESERVES TO GET A DEADLY BEATING!!! DEATH TO SKECHERS!!!!!

  • im going to put up vid about shape ups

  • are u a texan?

  • Thanks for doing this!! Good luck with the workout. I bought a pair today after watching lots of positive reviews and seeing so many adds in the O magazine. You've inspired me to take a "before" photo too. Good luck!

  • That is so cool! You've gotta share your pics and results with me! I hated taking my "before" photo but, it is what it is.... hopefully I see a huge difference, that will make this video all the more cool for everyone :)

  • Yeah, I'm not sure if I would want to take a before shot either but it is a good way to show the difference! :)

  • I just saw those the other day and though hmmm, I wonder...lol! So now I will just wait and see what you feel about them before I spend the money. Thanks!

  • Yep, they are a bit costly but I figure I'll give 'em a whirl!

  • aww I love the beginning! : )

I've been wanting to try these out for a while now...thanks for the review!

  • Thanks :) Let's hope for some awesome results! Everybody will be out buying them! :)

  • I had foot surgery and have had problems with my feet ever since. And my doc actully told me about those and wants me to check them out. Cause they way they are made ect...

  • They may be good for that.. my only concern for you and your injury would be your ankles.... I have notice there is not a lot of support there, could be due to the balancing.

  • I was curious about those shoes. but I haerd from a friend of mine, that she does love them..but she noticed she was tighter in her bum area...but is was due to squats and alot of walking, and not much due to the shoes. But everyone is different. I would love to hear your take on them.

  • Yeah, that would be hard to tell, if it's the shoes or the working out. I wonder about that too but I've already been working out 5 days a week for months now so if there are results, it's gotta be from the shoes. I'm definitely sore though!

  • LOL on the failed editing! Cute!

  • What a boob I am! I didn't hit "save" after editing obviously and there I am...prepping myself likethe dork I am!

Mental note: Double check and view video before posting! :)

  • LOL. Everyone does the same thing before they do a video. You just got caught! I woulda left it up too. :-)

  • 41...did I say 42 on the video? Thank you, not very many people can guess my age cause I don't act it. Actually, I don't act half it! :)

  • My sister was wondering about those. Well they do look comfortable

  • They are SO comfy and squishy :)

  • I want to try those shoes too...mostly for my calves...looking forward to the results!!

    how much were they?

    stay healthy...

  • They're $99 (I need to put that in) and they'd be awesome for calves! I'm worried about that actually, putting on too much muscle there and my boots won't zip! EEkkkk!
