I went to romania once, and by night was less than minus 25 degrees, i went outside the hotel to get a coat from the car and my back paralized completely...it was so freezing outside...i think if i would fall into a freeezing water i would have no chance
I watched this video 2 weeks ago. It saved my life today. Luckily I was wearing a pair of neoprene waders with a cinch belt when I fell through. Thank you.
idk if anyone here has fallen through, but it HURTS LIKE HELL! matter of fact when u start to warm up again (if u do) it is one of the most painfull experiances ever. the never mention how much falling through hurts.
Awesome video! One I won't forget. Don't you just love morons who second guess the experts? lol...I bet you find them at the bottom of a lake some day ;)
One should use the points of the sticks as ice picks to pull yourself out of the water (without skis). This is the way every Swedish army survival instructor would have done.
Wow, incredibly useful information. Everyone needs to watch this before the winter season starts.

Just a thought, and in this case, why not use the ski poles to help pull yourself out?

Don't panic. Make sure you breathe the air and not the water. Then find a way to get out.

LOL sorta funny how he kinda gives up after his feet got numb. "It would be a while before I die unless someone pulls me out"
That's not good or reassuring
