  • @McFlooow i dont play trumpet, but i can speak english..thankyou goodnight

  • This is great playing of a very difficult piece. All of you who don't like it, please mute your comments!

  • Шикарное исполнение!!!

  • @McFlooow first off, this is vivaldi NOT written for brass. It can go much faster. Listen to a period ensemble play vivaldi, you will see how it goes. I love youtube. this is hilarious. Admittedly, its not perfect..maybe far from it. But thats the point of rehearsal. The members of this group used this to fix the mistakes.

You play trumpet. Upload something... It would be nice to hear you play. Hopefully someone wont have the arrogance to post a negative useless comment

  • Hey chris, did u play in the 2010 julliard national trumpet competition? The one where they play william tell.

  • I think he was just experimenting with a faster tempo.

Good attempt. Though I have to agree that this piece is more enjoyable at a slower pace.

  • fantastic

  • i just wonder why do you compare them to German brass anyway whom are known to be like one of the best brass ensemble ...there's just no point...That's just fantastic guys...!!

  • You suck at both arranging and playing. EW

  • you play seriously trumpet??? lol i think thats supposed to be the other way around (I play trumpet Seriously, in case you couldnt figure that out) and why does it matter how fast they played? yes i do agree that it lacked quality because of the tempo issue but who can really tell these guys what to do or how to play? we are watching some of the next joe burgstallers, or maybe some other famous trumpet player. i"m not trying to be a dick, just let them play what and how they want to play. Thanks

  • i agree it was rather fast, even some parts just seemed tough because they were just way way too fast. i understand this guy is extremely good, but the song speaks for itself and when it speaks (sounds) right is at the just speed. If you listen to the German Brass they play it at a much better speed.

  • good one mcflooow. does this look like a concert? these guys r sight reading. but good thing ur an expert about it. if u can ever have 2% of the talent these guys have at anything in your life, that would very surprising. go back flipping burgers pal

  • Great!!!!! congratulations!!!!

  • Very outstanding players, especially the picc. But I thought by now that players would realize if they can't play something at a faster tempo they should slow it down.

  • damn chris! very impressive!!! i'd like to look at the picc part sometime- sammy

  • GREAT!!!! POWERFUL!!!!!

  • Why no Chicago Push at the end??? lol I love the clear tone from all the players, but in an effort to have every note be heard, first trumpet, the tongue was very edgy, and I had to put on kevlar so I wouldn't be cut. This is a great piece, and I love it for brass. You guys are all phenomenal players.

  • Agree.

  • Bravi bravi bravi . . . .Juilliard you can hear the differnce.

    Best wishes from Sicily.

    William

  • holly shit bro.

    nice work guys

    go pro

  • if you go on Itunes , people play this with....banjos!

  • i wish i was as good as you :(

  • shiiiiiit. i love it!

  • is that bob gorbet on bass trombone?

  • Great playing again...the previous comments agitate me. This is great playing and sometimes I think Bach would rather his music played with enthusiasm and excitement than with completely authentic performance practice.

  • Again, needs more baroque and less egotistical trumpet playing. Listen to the subtlety of phrasing in the German Brass version since I'm sure you've heard them. Also, I'd look into baroque keyboard style as the basis for your trills. That would be another stylistic point that you might find useful. Again, though, you're a very fine trumpet player. Good performance.

  • amazing playing! heard the german brass play this (im sure u get that alot)

  • this is soooooo cooool nice work on the "trumpet solo" i guess!

  • well...the top picc player is good....

  • starts off at one tempo... and gradually gets faster and faster and faster....

  • Hey man! Sounds great! Is it possible to get your arrangement of this? I can pay! I live right in Jersey and I'm 30 minutes from the city. Please let me know!

    -Thein

  • I know, the german brass are amazing. Thanks for listening though

  • Yes...goode...

    but German Brass is better!!!

  • nice1!!!
