@mct171 You are soo right - I should have left it alone but I am always trying so hard to look professional. But, I think my hair just looks better natural. Right now it is shorter than I like...I can't wait for it to grow out again!!

First the hair - I have no idea! Since I don't have much, I am just jealous from the start.

Second - husband. Heck yes! Make him at least go on camera with you. We need to know if he is real.

Production values - show us around the house, the yard, the pets. Mount a dash cam and show us how you drive. Can you tell we are back to #1 with no idea

Not sure if you can see it on my profile photo...but my hair is similar! I have bangs...better than botox..and layers. For 2009 tousled undone hair is the look! you have the perfect shape face for photos...you are lovely the way you are!

I like the concept of the intro video. Kudos to you for doing it. It can be very difficult to analyze yourself on video, and it's great to be open to the feedback. As a therapist, you're probably up to the task. I think the main thing to remember is that you should just be you, and not worry too much about it. Are you using a computer camera?

Hi there! FLIP cam, the quality is much better. I tried webcam today, and hated it. Lot of pple are using the FLIP video cams for vlogging. (I had one the original and got ti for under 100. The new ones are around 180+.

Hair: Your hair would look really cute wi/maybe soft graduating bangs, really soft, layers just abour the sides, not your whole head, because it's so thick. hope that helps?

first, definitely leave your hair long--it's gorgeous! maybe have a stylist add some layers so that it gives it shape, especially around your face.. a good stylist will know what to do :)

second, definitely have hubby do a video :) or do a video with him! (not THAT kind of video..)

third, definitely use a digital camera or video camera to do any vlogs that you do.. most digital cameras have a video mode that will record wayyy better than your webcam.

Follow up comment. Lets face it. you like to use your hands and be expressive. Don't fight it :) Lets see more of the real you, ok? That's what I'm working on for myself too. I've come across as stuffy, so I'm going to loosen up a bit more, be goofy, and have fun.

Lighting is better, easier to see your eyes.

Its hard to communicate face to face if the eyes aren't easy to "read" I guess?

Personally, I'm still not a fan of web cams. The videos I post are shot with a fairly in expensive video camera, which does much better.

And by all means, lets use our massive peer pressure and get your Husband in front of the camera. if I can do it, anyone else can too!
