  • I have this snare and it is my favorite! I had it for 10years now (felling' old) I used it for concert band performances back in high school and college and I use it with my kit now.

I know many who don't like the the sound a picc puts out but I personally think it adds a lot of interest. Plus it's fun to polish and make look pretty, which of course is the number one thing to considering when purchasing any drum!

  • is the brass piccolo better sounding than the steel one? i have a steel version of the pearl piccolo but i heard brass was more richer in tones

  • I like this the most from what i hear. That blue wheel snare was definitely the coolest drum i have ever seen though.

  • cool sound!!

  • awe dude that sounds sooo nice, I want that.

  • how much did you pay?

  • not if i jizz on it first...

  • so in other words your reso. is stock?

  • Yes, reso head is stock.

  • hey man i want to buy a snare but i don´t know wich one what you think...snare brass piccolo or maple?? of course Pearl thnks

  • It depends on the sound you are looking ...

  • @Legacyman200 What sounds do they give?

  • lmao

  • That snare sounds godly. What batter and resonant heads are you using? Also what type of snares?

  • It's a Pearl Pearl 14 X 3.5 copper

I use Evans G1 for batter head, resonant head is no name...

  • weak rim shots on free floating

  • Free Floaters come with Die Cast Hoops. Die Cast Drums sound better with just a single ply head with no Muffling. The Die Cast Hoops eliminate most of the over tones by itself. Adding muffling to Die Cast sounds chocked.

  • No...I never tried

  • how many snares do you have?

  • Yet 14 ...

  • In brass band I have no mics... :-(

  • is this the free floating snare?

  • No...

  • great shot, great snare ( I have a maple piccolo) Rock On.

  • WHO IS YOUR DADDY AND WHAT DOES HE DO?

  • My daddy is God and he sleeps on a cloud all year ...lol

  • XD ur daddys lucky

  • I HAVE A QUESTION

What is the difference between a piccolo and a jungle snare.

I am going to use one of them as my left side snare

  • A snare jungle will be smaller diameter (10 ") but deep (6", 7 ") and a piccolo rather be size 14" or 13 " but not deep (3", 4 ")

  • good lord that looks.sounds, absolutly beautiful

  • would you say this is much better than the Piccolo 13 x 3?

  • It depends on the sound for which you look and of the style which you play but the difference was have to be enormous...

  • next ritmo

  • tHIS IS THE BEST SNARE YOU HAVE BRO,,,,THANK U VERY MUCH FOR DOING ALL OF THIS WITH YOUR SNARES...VERY HELPFUL INDEED!

  • what snare head is that

  • All my snare's have Evans G1 Coated heads

  • i love brass....it has nice cut.

  • great playing. but i got some questions:

    1. where did you buy it? is it a older one? it must because doesnt have brass snares in that size today.

    2. would you sell it? i would bei really interested in buying it.

  • Thanks!
