Absolutely, the violence lends it some credibility. War has never been a pretty business and the 13th Century was no exception.

I think they could've gone a lot further of course, but I suppose in order to reach as big an audience as they did ... concessions had to be made.

The movie being bad is only an opinion. I'm not dismissing your's. I like the movie. Oh... whoever tried to imitate Eric Cartman needs to get slaped upside the head by his other dubing friend ^^. I didn't find the dubing at all bothersom except that dam Cartman imitation fail. Have a nice day guys ^^.

Indeed, next time he'll be sure to go to the trouble of post-processing the audio and employing the use of a pitch shifter so that a single line of dubbing sounds more convincing.

The movie is, from a historical standpoint, worse than bad. That's not really a matter of opinion.

In other respects it's actually a pretty decent film.
