Kurdish people and culture is older than persian... for example the Persian Flag is coming from the Median(kurdish ancestors) Flag with its Lion and Sun, also the Medians were Zarathustrians and because of Medians the persian celebrate Newroz, the so called persian new year, but its also kurdish..

Upto the 90's it was illegal to speak Kurdish, all Kurdish affliated parties were forcefully shut down by your so called independant and fair Justice system. Many uprisings and revolts have been met with ethnic cleansing (1920 Agri Uprising and 1938 Dersim Uprising). The area that is Turkish Kurdistan has been under Martial law many times, making it difficult for inhabitants to find work however scarce industry is in the area.
