Our 66 Travco still sits in Pismo Beach. Stock 2 barrel 318, Kohler 10,000 watt generator, nice interior. The exterior is crusted over with lichens but the gelcoat underneath polishes out nicely. Someday it will get a Dodge Cummins turbo diesel with Allison trans. The original owner was Dick Smothers of the Smothers Brothers. We had great times in that motorhome growing up. It last ran in 1976. It got 11mpg on the freeway at 65.
@kolbpilot Actually, parts are easy. The most trouble I've had w/ my 1969 is dinette hinges. Mileage isn't bad, either. If I drive at 55, I get 12-13. Not bad for 3 tons of fiberglass.
@kimmer - your 66 sounds like a marvelous beast!

I like these old beasts but it seems parts would be a hassle & unimpressive gas mileage.
