When you get robos which are better for cagemates? Males or females?

Hi, one of my hamsters (robo) has the same bald patch on her back, and i saw your reply to someones comment saying that they sleep together, play, follow etc. mine do the exact same. I was just wondering if your hamsters fought to death or it was just a sudden death? just to give me a piece of mind! i do hear squeaking though, at night!

Why do you have so much bedding in there? I didn't think they needed all that but on the bright side it makes it look really cool.

@1998emmal roborovski hamsters love to burrow, they didnt NEED it, but it makes them happy, and happy hamsters live longer. its in their nature to burrow

@morganmnp3 hamsters love to tunnel and burrow, i use more sawdust than that to mimic what they would have in the wild.

@Monkeymad103 here is an idea for you we did it for our robos. you go to the store and get a large clear storage tote there about ten dollers drill many holes in the lid.

wash it out then fill it with all the stuff you think your hammy would like. ex.. bedding toys houses etc. it gives the robos lots of room to run about and burrow when you go to clean it just put the hammy in its ball or another cage or something. then just dump the old bedding in a trash bag or can and wash everything.

@Monkeymad103 when your done puting new bedding in put the hamster in it will explore as you put the toys and other things in if its one robo you can wash it every other weekend. also i recomend the silent spinner wheel if you have more than one get a couple they will fight over wheels sometimes. good luck

i checked her out yes i think there may have been a very small amount of blood im guessing a accident they do have play fights they still play together like on the wheel follow each other and sleep together so no need for seperation. yet
