This was the first pass, we did fill the whole cell (5") but if you fill it to fast you can burn your project down. It can catch fire from the reaction and so much heat build up. So you want to layer it in about 1" to 1 1/2 " at a time.
Alot of haters here, He's doing a decent job, obviously new to foaming... as for the pattern, it doesnt need to be drilled, the air set needs to be tightened, although the mixing chamber will clog quickly that pattern would work if he cocked his hand a bit counter clockwise..... Just my $.02
Probler 2??? Iv never seen one. I spray with a fusion gun and i think it pretty dam good. Its nice compared to what it did use. Old school D7 gun. ive clean th d7 probably 10 times some days. I got so good at it i could do it with my eyes closed.
Iv'e seen some spray it on thick, like to the "almost front of the 2X's but this was almost 1/2 as much. SO does it have the same "R" factor or is it just a lesser quality?

It looks to be a Closed Sell. So yes, Closed cell is more quailty the the more expanding open cell foam.

If you spray closed cell to thick it will start to char and the center will become very spongy. you got to rip it out and do it again.
