This was not from the actual Chicago AM1000 WCFL. This was from an FM radio station (104.7 FM WCSJ) in a small town in the SW suburbs (Morris, IL) that bought the old jingles & for a couple years 1991-1993 played those old jingles & called themselves Super CFL. I was never able to actually pick up the signal in Chicago.
Wow...from my home in the northern suburbs I used to rig up all manner of improvised antennas to pull this station in...because it was so much better than anything else on the air! (Especially WJMK...104.7 Super CFL blew "Magic 104" out of the water!!)
This is an excellent re-creation of the original. If I owned a radio station I would do this..
