The 55 panhead (I had one) had a frame with the straight front members, this one has the "bowed members, indicating that the frame is earlier than 55. still a nice scooter-
Look at this, man-oh-man a jockey shift and rear brake only! OK tell the truth, do you really no how to work this set up? Every try to creep up a hill to a stop sign without brake and not loose your balance and drop the bike like the 81ers in Frisco? You da man if ya can!
Sorry to say this but what part of that motor is from 1955 I had a panhead for along time and I can tell just by watching this video that the heads are newer after market not even original panhead heads. The same with the oil pump carburetor and distributor. What is left over from 1955 to me it looks like maybe just the front end, gas tanks and frame.
Put a wide glide on the pan and sell the gay iron head

tiny0770 11 months ago
@tiny0770 Pretty sure those are stock panhead tanks that were welded together to remove the dash.

@tiny0770 I would say it"s two tanks welded together

I.m sorry man, way to bling bling....... Take a look at the Japanese bobbers.
They are teaching us a lesson in biker build.
But as long as you are happy..............
